Rofl, Runescape.
Okay, Runescape isn't a terrible game itself. It was pretty innovative in its time (anyone remember RS1? xD), and it still has a bunch of stuff that most MMOs wouldn't think of including, however unnecessary a skill may be. I guess the main problem I had with that game was the lack of group play. You could pretty much solo any mob in the game, at the time I was playing.
However, Runescape has a sad, sad community. Half (or more than half) of the players are whining, little kids who really have no clue what makes a good MMORPG. You can identify most of these kids pretty easily. It's the same with Maple Story, imo. Really bad community (for GMS) in the early levels, but I guess it gets better later on.
PvP? Terrible. You can't trust anyone in the wilderness, honestly, unless you know them irl. I've lost a whole set of rune to some random dude that was my friend for a really long time, and I never saw him again.

yeah i had something like that happen to me once before i didn't trust him at all i kinda saw it coming but basically he said come help me in the wilderness blah blah he had a friend and they attacked me lol...but i had the stuff to insto teleport back....then it logged me out while i was fighting because my connection sucked and when i finally logged back in i was dead and back in lumby....lost a lot of stuff...then bought it all back with my million gold and such and i was like...."wow that was bad timing" but yeah never saw that "friend" again lol

got my membership on friday for one month to test it out

i got hooked on fletching lol i got it up to 72 already and im making easy mage exp and im not losing money :O

I know, I was planning to double login. But how could I exchange the money to myself? My friend gave me his account to do whatever on. The account name is Joshseidel and he's got amazing stats and a bunch of money on it that I want to exchange to mine, then make more money and then I would eventually give it back.

well if they are both allowed in the same crater in bounty hunter then heres what you do
On the account who you want to take money off of, buy something like rune until you're out of cash. Then take it into the medium crater(or whatever crater you can both go in) and then let your one account pk it. Then just survive for 3 minutes. It's really easy to do in f2p because no one hits very good if you have good defence.

I still play it every once in a while... It's hated too much, seriously it's not that bad, because a lot of people play it. Besides, people think being the best is priority. It's an okay game if you don't play it constantly.

I haven't played RS in almost 2 months. It got to where it was just too boring to play anymore. Not to mention Jagex killing the game over that whole RWT thing, which only resulted in a huge uproar and a significant drop in players. They're trying to make the game better, but it's just not enough to bring in new players or hold the attention of veterans like myself. The only thing I regret about leaving is that I had to forfeit my position as second-in-command for a lvl 70+ clan. The guy who got my rank has always been the focus of my hatred! The clan's gone downhill ever since, and I haven't been on to talk with the leader about it. I may contemplate playing again someday and fixing the clan if it's still around, but I don't see it in my near future.

This game sucks because the game community does, its just a bunch of 9 year olds, also I tried this and got bored of it really fast.

EDIT : My bad, the majority of the players on runescape are 9 year old boys with no life

Actually, there are a lot of teenagers and adults who play RS as well, who I must say, unfortunately, probably don't have lives. If you're 30+ and don't have anything better to do than play RS, there's a problem there. Heck, playing FFR at age 30 is much cooler and more respected!

But as far as the community goes, it's actually pretty decent overall. It's just that those whiny kids under age 10 are the ones who generate the most publicity, so the community as a whole earns a label for their actions.

I used to play runescape. Its really not a bad game now withs eom updates, sure they screwed with pk and trade, but im just talking about the graphics have got better. I must agree though people who play runescape all the time and nothing else besides maybe (Jobs, school, homework) really should calm down with the logging in 20 times a day.
