If you want to play any sort of game, macs are horrible.
1) They have to be compatible with mac. This isn't macs fault so you can disregard that if you want
2) The OS is more process intensive then even Vista making it so everything you do is slower
3) Many don't give two ****s about ****ty trial software. Garage band sucks and if anybody wants software now-a-days, they would get it illegally, sorry but it's true.
ITT: People who have never used macs talk about the reasons why they don't like macs.
Why would I want something else when I'm content with what I have? Unless apple reinvents "the wheel" of computers or something revolutionary, I'll stick with Windows. They're all about the aesthetics anyway, and ease of operation.
I played FFR on my friends mac multiple times and it sucked ass. He also tried playing WoW and I knew his hardware and it constantly crashed.
That system must haved sucked. I am on a MacBook, 4gbs of ram, and a 2.4 ghz processor. I play FFR and WoW, I get no lag. As well there is a thing called Boot Camp to install windows XP on your intel based macs.

It had better hardware than my laptop with XP and it doesn't run nearly as good. Also with boot camp you're running two OS's at one time...not really the best thing to do. Macs are not good for gaming...at all.
okay please any1 wanna tell me how to do a system backup? just got a new comp 2gb ram 720gb hard drive quad core, but Vista pre-installed. yes ffr is choppy, but hell i can't even fc any difficults anymore because i press the keys down and nothing happens... this is really sad. i like my new comp ALOT, but no ffr?! and yes i know how to do a system backup on xp, just new to vista. and no usb keyboard.
