If a section of the song repeats itself a large number of times without changing its general form, try changing the style or layering you're stepping it with half way through. (This is only if you CAN do such a thing, of course)

I'm having a problem saving a song I downloaded into a form that I can stick into a song file.

Specifically, I went on http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/428/101 to download the final battle music for Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, but I'm not sure how to save the MP3 to my computer in such a way that I can then put it in a song folder. I'm using Windows XP, if that matters.

*psst...does it show that this is my first time ever trying to make a simfile?*

Edit: Never mind...it said on the Web page that I had to right click the link and save the link as something.
