The answer to your first question is because the round magically shifted to end 1 day earlier, coincidentally being the exact day my mother had to be taken to the hospital. That's why I brought it in.

Wait what????? The round DID NOT end a day earlier. It ended last Thursday night as usual. Round 4 started a day later.... Stop giving false information.

bitching is a natural part of any tournament.

As for the round ending too early: If you have extenuating circumstances that cause you to not be able to submit a score, tough beans. The tournament is not going to wait up just for you no matter what your reason for not submitting is. Darkshark was knocked out of the 2nd tournament this way because his internet connection died at the wrong time--he hated it of course but that's just how it works. The end of round date and time were posted very clearly in the OP, so it's your fault for making incorrect assumptions.

As for division placement, you got into the 4th round and complain that you were placed too high? There were almost certainly people way worse than you in D4. There are a lot more than 5 levels of skill at FFR, and there are going to be huge ranges within each division. The entire division system is entirely catered to the less skilled anyway as it would be pretty damn reasonable to have a single-division tourney with one winner. We don't do that because we're nice and want to support the people who aren't the best and let them have fun too, but whining about it is just stupid.

P.S. Stop saying you're not whining. What you're doing is practically the definition of whining.

True, but the rules in the first thread of this tournament stated 7 days unless otherwise stated. I did not make incorrect assumptions, I was following what I read. I realize the "unless otherwise stated", and I am not arguing about that because I realize that. It is just that it was inconspicuously changed for the sole purpose of ending the next round quicker formed by the opinion of one person, which I felt was an act of discourtesy towards other players.

And I give my thanks to you for explaining this to me, this is the first reply that I have felt actually gave me information without trying to shove it down my throat. I felt that people were supposed to be of equal skill to me upon time of placement, when I feel that they are not.

The round started later, did not end earlier. I never said every round was always going to be 7 days (and if I did, please show me) - so don't assume they will be. You had 6 days to submit a score. Now stop complaining. Stop continuing to flood this thread with this crap. If you want to continue your pointless arguing, use PMs.

The only complaining I see in this thread is of you complaining about me. I did not complain about a single thing nor did I ask for a single thing changed. It wasn't changed just to make it end quicker idiot, it was changed because the tiebreaker took up one day, and they didn't want to change the end date of the round. Actually it ended at the EXACT same time it would have otherwise.

God, I'm rofl in RL, cant everyone just stop complaining? god damnit. I'm not the best either, but im not complaining over my placement in D3, Just deal with what you have. I can only play on weekends well, since My main computer at my moms house is Vista (And everyone has heard about vista..) And on weekends, im at my dads house with his XP computer. And his computer has 3 viruses in it, so even then I'm not that good. But I am dealing with it. Why cant we just have a peaceful tournament. Sprite- did his best placing everyone and he did a mighty fine job. You try placing over 400 people in divisions, looking at EVERY person's stat's to see where they belong. YOU try PMing EVERY SINGLE PLAYER who has not submitted a score. Sprite- cannot work any harder, and reading your complaints just takes more time away from his life.
