hey shamoo, next time we play, can you save the replay if i actually do a decent job and put it on youtube and send it to me
Ghost1:boy if that micro goomba hadnt dashed out just as i jumped from that platform...
Ghost2:Oh you swerved in midair, landed on a spiked floor, and ended your game huh
Ghost1:What no what kind of a jumper do you think i am. I cleared the spikes easy. then bam..bottomless pit.
We really need to integrate a slob counterpicking system, i just lost to FD, again its only slightly aggravating. It was also pretty laggy throughout =\ but i mean its wi-fi so w/e.
Nice Ganon, you need to see Sliq play he is the master of that char.
btw the stages were
delfino
battlefield
final destination (stage control is no good for me here in case you cant tell)
EDIT: I also really need to quit playing marth when I know he isn't my main... >.<
What do you mean counterpickng stage? I didn't choose delfino neither did my random stage selection either for the first one. The second was on Battlefield that i picked. And the last one went to Final Destination, and I never pick that stage.
EDIT:
I did notice some lag on Delfino plaza but the others ran fine i think. It wasn't stuttering lag tho i thought it was extremely playable. I've felt worst lol
EDIT:
And yes Sliq is amazing but I like Bizarro Flame more tho. Sliq probably plays smarter tho. Bizarro Flame is a cooler name plus the things he does during matches are like epic lolololol

* The first match is played with a random stage
* The random select is comprised of neutral stages:
* Yoshi's Story (Brawl)
* Smashville
* Battlefield
* Final Destination
* In some tournaments, players are given the option to "strike" stages from the random select
* For the first match, characters are chosen double-blind - at the same time, so that neither player knows his opponent's character beforehand. In practice, this rule is often ignored, but players always reserve the option to force a double-blind pick.
* The loser of the first match (and of successive matches) chooses the next stage, and then the winner chooses his character, and then the loser chooses his character. This series of choices is called slob picks.
Stage banning would also be a plus as well but its w/e
In the last tournament I went to (it was about a 25person tourney in NC) we had stage banning. You could ban any stage nuetral or counterpick, but the first round was always a random of the 4 neutral stages. The list of allowed stages are as follows:
Neutral
- Final Destination
- Battlefield
- Smashville
- Yoshi's Story (Brawl)
Counterpick
Delfino Plaza
Luigi's Mansion
Norfair
Frigate Orpheon
Halberd
Castle Siege
Pictochat
Corneria
Rainbow Cruise
Green Greens
Brinstar
Pokémon Stadium
We each got to ban 3 stages. You would flip a coin, then alternate choices. Stage striking i dont care about as much, but it is nice. You do it in a similiar fashion as banning, flip a coin (sometimes 2/3 roshambull) and then alternate strikes of neutrals.
To make up for the coin toss we could just say either challenging or defending gets to go first, simple solution.

In local tournaments I could see the whole random stage selection thing working. But over Wifi sure you could just pick something out of the neutral stages that you prefer.
I think a better method would be to each pick a stage that you want to play on. And the defending player gets to pick the tiebreaking map. All of this is decided before you actually brawl.

If you think people would favor a nuetral stage then striking could solve that problem. I think the communication would be the hardest part, doing this over forums would be kinda tedious

When you're banned, simply trying to access the forum will tell you you're banned, and if the admin who banned you was doing things right, you'd have a comment intended to identify to you why you were banned, and potentially give you some insight or advice on the issue.
If talking about the ladder the blue text simply means you are frozen.
You weren't "banned" from the ladder. DogDude simply froze you since ppl notice you were banned from FFR and that you wouldn't be able to communicate.
Once Dogdude logs in again, He'll unfreeze and you'll be back to normal. The word "banned" next to ur name just simply tells others why you were frozen on the ladder.
I say you can still do challenges even before dogdude logs in, since the only reason you were frozen was cuz u were banned from ffr.
Makes sense, thought that was it but.
Since I was unbanned for a week now I wasn't sure if I want banned from the ladder or not.
Thanks for clearing that up
