      I ended up in Sudden Death with the kid because I managed to doge his Final Smash. But yeah, I lost, too. D;

      Definitely going to join more tournaments that allow GameCube controllers instead.
      Better than the sudden death match I lost recently. I had the guy dead, through the top of the screen, (so he's floating into becoming a star) and bombombs start falling all over the stage.

      I end up getting nailed by one and dying before him. Extremely lame.

        Omgsh. That seriously blows. I'd be extremely pissed. ><

        Those bombombs get me so tense. I never know when theyre going start appearing.
        Whats the "rule" for it exactly?
        For awhile I thought they start to appear when you've been in Sudden Death too long. But there was a time I was playing and bombombs just started falling right at the start. o.o;

          I think it's 30 seconds or a minute. Reguardless, they should have just let people duke it out.

          Attacks from sheild. Directly. If one of his attacks missed, there was no recoil, he went straight back into the sheild.

          I've never been so pissed playing any competitive game my whole life.

            I was wondering though, since it was brought up here.
            I was thinking of selling my GameCube controllers and using the money to buy some used/new wireless Gamecube controllers. Pretty sure the money I get wont be totally enough to cover the price, so I'll play the difference; which I expect to not be much anyways.
            Is it worth it???
            Corded are definitely better. After having a wavebird first, then moving "down" to a corded, I am much more satisfied with the corded. Rumble, lighter, no batteries, no worries about channels. It's all around better, the only "problem" being the physical cord itself, which I personally like if only that it tethers me down so I can't smash my controller against other things, such as my bed (which I did do with my Wavebird on at least one occassion).

            And actually, I think there is something wrong with this controller's stick, so I really hope those Wii version Gamecube controllers come out here soon so I can pick up a nice new controller and HOPEFULLY not beat the **** out of it.

            But yeah, I think I forgot to mention this in this thread, but my control stick sucks balls sometimes. In fact, I end up walking quickly often when I'm trying to run, and a rather large portion of the time I try to, say, down smash, and he just ducks down for a moment then comes back up. So yeah, if you're playing against me and you think my movement/actions seem strange, that's probably why. Nothing too terrible that I'd use that as a major excuse as to why I lost, so I don't feel bad playing with this gimp, but meh, whatever. It's either deal with not running some of the time or deal without having a Z button or rumble.

            And yeah, manti tried his controller out with me, and I must say, I was kind of disappointed. Things were way closer than I was anticipating, and if I hadn't made some MAJOR blunders, things very easily could have ended with me winning the matches. Hopefully he can destroy me once he gets his controller issues worked out

                  Yeah, doesnt make sense. 0.o; Has to be hacked or something.
                  But did you try doing what Korny said?

                  lol. You shouldve saved the match or something so you can send it to our Wiis; I'd really love to be able to actually see it.

                    I could still throw him, And you could still hit where the shield faded away from protecting parts of the body, But that charachters I use (Samus, Link) have pathetically slow throws, so they're not too hard to dodge (and leave me wide open afterwards). Thus why I dont really use throws.

                    As for explaining it better, Think of it as having virtually no cooldown between attacks, and no open time to hit the guy if he missed an attack, or switching from shield to a direct smash attack. There were times I would get hit in the middle of a combo. It was stupid and It pissed me off.

                        So, just chains of unavoidable attacks, one right after the other?

                        Wth?! Definitely a high possibility of him hacking.
                        What was his character?

                              if you see a hacker on-line just go away... they are very annoying..then again beating a hacker must be very funny XD.

                              but in my opinion hackers are just discusting people that can't even play correctly >_>.

                                I saw these videos a long time ago. You do it with an action replay. What i'm saying is that you can't hack ONLINE play. Besides, there are certain things you have to do even with the action replay to perform them. You can't do them online.
