Dude, the intro for Brawl has a bunch of cuts from the cutscenes from Adventure mode... An Adventure mode with CUTSCENES, something that Melee lacked.
It's pretty much completely made up of cutscenes, which when put to music don't look good. The intro is basically "here's this character, here's this one, here's this one, and this one etc". When put in the context of Adventure Mode, the cutscenes are awesome, but when chopped up into short pieces, then sequenced, the epicness is lost. LOST.

My point is that you should be able to forgive the opening because of the work that they put into the cutscenes. Besides, take a look at the N64 intro. I'd rather have cutscene cutups for an intro than that.
That aside, only some of the cutscene cuts were poor choices. Most of them look pretty nice, particularly things like Link holding up his sword or Samus looking at her power suit. Other ones only have minor faults like where Charizard is flying and Red is watching him, Lucas is at his side, which makes no sense out of context (or any of the other ones where individual characters are standing side by side that make no sense in context). My only other qualm are the obvious gameplay shots that can be a bit distracting.
Honestly, Meta Ridley is just ridiculous. Both Ridleys, in fact, suck balls.
1) Trophy Stands are rare item spawns. Very rare. There are stickers to improve the drop rate, but don't even bother.
2) Both Ridleys hang out outside of the stage. So even if you get a trophy stand, the trophy'd boss will just fall off.
3) Both Ridleys scrape the stage. If there happens to be a bomb on the stage, they'll blow themselves up. It's fun!
4) Both Ridleys sit at the end of their stages, so you have to go through the entire ordeal again if you don't want to lose your stickers. I just ignored the loss of stickers on Meta Ridley because the annoying stage, time limit, and lack of Trophy Stands are enough to make him too much of a hassle to re-run every time.
But at least I'm done with that. Now there's just like three million other Subspace enemies to trophyize.
I just played a match. Someone as Captain Falcon won.
By standing in one place spamming Falcon Punch.
Not only did the other 2 players keep getting caught in it, but they knocked my ass into it at least twice.
And the other night, I was playing a group of people and I kept losing about half the time. But these guys weren't even that good. What would happen is that I would pile on damage, then while I try to get my finishing blow in (Pikachu is tough to do that with if you're having trouble landing a smash on them or if they're playing the concrete shoes game), they'd swoop in and take it. And it's like "dude, you're not even at this game; I would beat you one on one" but I can't even say that to them because of stupid ass no communication.
I guess what I'm saying is that:
#1: There should be an option to play one on one matches online against anyone.
I still haven't played online yet. None of you are ever online when I want to play. Nobody has added me back from their friend list (except afro and one other guy). I tried a random match and ended up waiting 5 minutes for people to show up. Nobody did.
It's too much of a hassle to get my wireless up and running anyway, so I probably just won't play it online.
I see Brawl as many times faster than Melee. And many times better.
The only annoyance I have with Brawl so far is the random tripping. I still don't understand what triggers it. Sometimes it'll be when I'm turning while running, sometimes it'll be when I'm dashing from standstill, sometimes it'll be while I'm using a special move.

Its totally random.
Nothing you can do to stop it.
How can you possible think that brawl is faster or even close to melee in speed? For example. Fast fall in melee, then fast fall in brawl. Run with capt. falcon in melee then run with him in brawl. The speed difference is so great, that you have to be crazy not to notice or think so for that matter.
