That's because the CPU is ****. They're better in Brawl, but they're still garbage. Even the best of them I still kill at about a 2:1 ratio, and I'm not even that good (then again, I always have a positive score in the online anonymous Brawls while most others end up in the negative...).

Try playing against a person who knows what they're doing with Jigglypuff. If you want to talk **** about a character because the computer player is garbage, I suggest you go play 1 player mode in N64 and watch as Pikachu literally kills himself because of his inability to do anything with his up B other than straight horizontals/verticals. Then play against me on N64. Heck, play against ANYONE as Pikachu.

ps I just realized: no N64 stages in Brawl. They should have done something... even if it was an update or something. I'd love to have seen Celadon City (or whatever that stage was) recreated in amazing 3D. It's a real shame that Wii doesn't have a hard drive since if it did, they could have new levels or characters released periodically.

Snake is actually really fun to play with. Not the fastest but pretty strong. Good smash attacks, great aerials, godly recovery, and his grenades are fun to play with. And his Final Smash is one of the best in the game.

I almost forgive him for being completely unnecessary.

how do you unlock ? i tried classic mode and instead captain falcon came up x.x ( im to lazy to look on teh internets for the requirements x.x ) ive only unlocked ness and luigi

Yeah me too. My technique in brawl is even better because you have a lot more opportunities to pull off certain aerial maneuvers and it's much easier to recover.

Before my parents stole my game (for playing "too much") I finally unlocked jiggly (my 3rd best in melee) so if she's even better now, I will be glad =)

If it's anything like previous games, Captain Falcon may be unlockable by clearing Classic mode in a short time. Even in old ones, if you get Speed Demon on the "classic" mode, you'd get Captain Falcon instead of Jigglypuff.

And once again, it's easy as hell to unlock almost everyone just playing through Adventure mode. Upon clearing it, you'll have all but a handful unlocked, and those few can be easily unlocked by completing other specific tasks (such as clearing classic or boss battle with certain characters) OR you can go back to previous stages in Subspace Emissary and there will be new areas in stages that allow you to unlock them.

Whatever programmers idea it was to get rid of speed falling needs to be shot in the face. if you're falling back to the stage and someone is attacking you, you cant suprise them with a quick momentum change anymore. It's like you just sit there waiting for the attack.

Uh, last I checked, speed falling does work.

I use it all the time in target test.
