Let's recap:

1. Download the file with the song you want to step from the Simfile database

2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file so you can access the folder inside.

3. Open the folder and rename the music file into something that does not have the same name you already have in "my creations"

4. Go to Start> all programs> stepmania> stepmania tools and package exporter> create song> *browse to your extracted file*> *select music file*> okay.

5. Load up Stepmania and go to the "edit/sync songs" in the main menu.

6. Go to my creations and select your file and the difficulty you wish to step, then press enter.

So which part are you having trouble with?

the illegal downloading of music constitutes piracy and is in violation of multiple copyright laws. acquire the song through legal methods, either by paid download or via buying a CD that has the song and ripping it onto your computer.
