Re: X-box 360
I didn't really feel like typing everything out but here it goes:
1) When somebody says get over it they usually don't have a problem with what has happened. For example I saw somebody making fun of the U.S. for the possibility of a Black President over Xbox Live in a racist manner. Now if somebody of colour was offended by that and you said "Get over it", it shows that you really don't care about it which is what he meant by you thinking it's OK because if you didn't you would try to put a stop to it.
2) He said that you should never insult people but people do it even though they shouldn't.
3) He never said that the rules weren't enforced, he just said there were. If rules are in place it is obviously not encouraged. When you play a sport you do play to win but if it's not fun when people just throw insults around. People like that just win for bragging rights and to elevate themselves.
4) Your statement was pretty irrelevant to what Squeek said but COD4 has nearly as much trash talking as Halo and the people who trash talk over Xbox, at least the ones I met, are all stupid ass-holes. It doesn't my gameplay but it annoys me how ignorant they are.
5) I haven't been playing Halo much as it's not really that great but I find tea bagging isn't much of an insult but more of a joke and a part of some healthy competition. However anything that shows aggression or something that can actually insult somebody shouldn't be allowed. Also when you told Squeek to "GET OVER IT" you pretty much proved his 1st point...you think insulting people during gameplay and watching them get mad is funny therefore OK.
Also stop being such a jerk. Your telling Squeek he's retard then proclaiming yourself to be the only correct one. Listen and understand before you start dishing out bull.'
I find I still get more kills with Last Stand...especially when I get that Golden Desert Eagle I heard about.Last edited by fido123; 01-15-2008, 03:42 PM.Comment

You obviously have a reading comprehension problem because you couldn't figure out what I was I trying to get at. Here let me put it in caps for you.I didn't really feel like typing everything out but here it goes:

THERE IS TRASH TALKING IN LIFE. GET OVER IT!
¿Comprende?
So Microsoft made it up?
Depends on the situation and game variant. In death match on a big map, maybe. On team death match on that small level with all the crates I would rather have a grenade fall when I die because theres a good chance 1 or more opponents are there...Last edited by l2awr; 01-15-2008, 06:21 PM.Comment

Re: X-box 360
Sell your old 360s and get an elite, kids. I've left it on for days at a time accidentaly, runs perfect. Even when it does get the red lights (It has happened when my power went out, when my friend tripped over the power wire) I just boot it back up and it works fine.Comment

Re: X-box 360
However Squeek's point that it is not necessary and shouldn't be put in. Yes it is a part of life but it shouldn't be but the world isn't perfect. In short just don't do it >_<.
It's called the red ring of death...doesn't make sense but it is.
Also Microsoft is made up because it's just a cover for Bill Gates army who will enslave us all, have fun in the Microsoft imperial mines where we will be spending the rest of our days.Comment

Re: X-box 360
No Squeek was trying to argue with me that by me saying "Get over it" I meant that trash talking is OKAY. He was either trying to start an argument with me or misunderstood. I think he misunderstood because he didn't respond to what I said. Then he brought my sports example to a whole different subject. God knows why. However Squeek's point that it is not necessary and shouldn't be put in. Yes it is a part of life but it shouldn't be but the world isn't perfect. In short just don't do it >_<.

Re: X-box 360
Trash talking is not OK.
Why the hell do you think throwing slander is acceptable.
Sure thing, let's all insult our co-workers, bosses, customers, fellow men, etc.
If you want to trash-talk over the Internet, go right ahead. I don't condone it but if you feel like you need to make other people feel small to boost your own ego when you know you won't face repercussions from your actions, be my guest.Comment

Re: X-box 360
Squeek, l2awr, watch:
l2awr does NOT believe trash talking is okay. He recognizes it as a fact of life, however. The original thing said "Get over it." That doesn't mean he condones it; it means he recognizes it as something that isn't worth getting worked up over, and is likely something that can't be eliminated. It's better to just not worry about it.Originally posted by l2awrNo Squeek was trying to argue with me that by me saying "Get over it" I meant that trash talking is OKAY. He was either trying to start an argument with me or misunderstood.
I don't trash talk, but people who get offended by it do need to "get over it." It's not something that's acceptable to do, but the fact is that it happens, and there's absolutely no reason to get worked up about it.
There, does -that- clear things up at all?Comment
