Re: The Wii is Here.
My Wii is being stupid.
There are no parental controls on it, yet it says i have to put in the pin to change any settings at all.
I click I forgot, and then the secret question came up, and I clicked I forgot.
Then this number came up, and it said to call consumer support at nintendo and enter the number, so I could get a master key.
Well, I called the consumer support, and it has no option whatsoever for putting this number in.
So now i can't get system updates, or even connect to the internet (just bought a new router, had to change settings for both my computers, and my DS).
Any idea on what I need to do?Comment

Re: The Wii is Here.
You could try a system format. It will clear all Mii data and saved data unless you store them on SD cards / wii remotes, so be careful.
Some random system settings disabled my ability to play Elebits. I had to format the entire system to make it work again. Elebits data can't be transferred for some weird reason, so it went bye-bye.Comment

Re: The Wii is Here.
You call customer support, press 0 to speak to a live representative, and they'll give you the master key which you put into the PIN field. Honestly, how hard can it be?My Wii is being stupid.

Re: The Wii is Here.
This was the original concept for the zapper.

In my opinion, this is far superior to the one that I have.
When I bought the zapper for RE:UC, I was expecting something like this.Comment

But I don't like talking to people on the phoneYou call customer support, press 0 to speak to a live representative, and they'll give you the master key which you put into the PIN field. Honestly, how hard can it be?

PS: I have never had this problem with my Wii before, therefore, I don't know how to get the code.Comment
