And maybe also divide it up into categories, then add up to a total, kind of like this:

etc... don't know of any songs with harder jumps off the top of my head... well, a few, but the streams are way harder than the jumps

Jumpstream (Stream + Jumps)

At the rate we're going, looks like I might have one point from each section lol... maybe soon to be 3 or 4 on jumps.

EDIT: Requirement for each song would be FC. Oh, and we could also have a PA section. Any song could go in there, you'd just have to AAA it or SDG it, depending on how we structure the list. Personally I think it should be SDGs, because after you get down to only 5 goods, it's exponentially harder with each good removed.

And maybe a section for Jacks too.

And maybe some of these sections need to be combined, lol.

Psst Sympathizer/Love Cheat!/Dream of Scarlet should go in there somewhere.
Neat idea we have forming here, it'd be nice if we could like work to finalize it or something. A concrete points system based off of that would end a lot of disputes and maybe we could add a simfile(s) for sightreading points too.

So... first off, how many difficulties for each section....? And where should we set the lowest and highest? IMO, lowest should still be high enough so that only the top people get at least one point, not the people with 10 000+ average rank. And highest should be high, but not so high that none of us have a chance of achieving it.

We could also start making a list of songs that fit best in each category (not worrying about difficulty yet):

Streams: I have no idea, other than obvious harder songs like Caprice and Silence. Which reminds me, Caprice is FGO, except that with a little more practice and getting better at mini-jacks, I might even FC it, but I'm nowhere close to Silence. Anyways...

Rolls: The immediate one that comes to mind is Coat Czech and Gaussian blur, although Gaussian blur is also stream-heavy, and after the beginning, there's like almost no rolls. So... maybe one of TGWP?

Trills: Definitely Max Forever... there's several that are on the tip of my tongue but I can't remember...

Jacks: AIM anthem as the very top one, maybe? Or is it too hard, or what? I have no idea because I'm not at that skill level yet. The only other one I can think of is Devotion and Desire.

Jumpstream: Hehe, lots of hard jumpstream songs, including silence. Is EHHS too hard to be the top one on the list or should Silence be the top, or what?

Yeah, I'm not a song expert... help?

Didn't intend for it to turn out that way, but it just turns out so well. And there is a major fundamental difference: the original tier point system doesn't single out specific arrow patterns.

Streams-Blaze is a yes. Rose maybe. Red Alert might be a good one for the lower points because of the speed of the first bit whether its long or not. Gradeus? Summer? Neon-213? Air!?
Rolls-Coat Czech is a yes. I think...maybe...Nice Nice noise?
Trills-Max, Klung Kung, ASB I think has a few, Hyper Hyper with the up-down ones? (idk which it is its Kaw vs Smiley vs Inspector K)
Jacks-Aim, Norgers? Stalled out and sushi bars?GGC?
Jumpstream-Etude, EHHS? Silence, Love Cheat/Sympathizer/Dream of Scarlet for JUST jumps(TGWP4 too), Robotix? LOL I FORGOT SEVEN =O Frozen? Firestorm for an easier one? Aztec Templing?
And runningmen-Klung Kung and CI are all that come to mind.

Lol my bad. Typically it's Revo when I mean revo and I forgot Legendary existed so I assumed you would assume Dragon. Grown to love that song after 2 weeks of tryin to AAA so I sometimes consider it THE etude XD
Trills- maybe add Take Me Back? I'm playing it now to check.
EDIT-Ya it's got three hellish trills but I don't know if they alone are enough for anything.

After this we might need to take some out because they're about the same difficulty, and therefore redundant. Then again, I think we're also missing some difficulties too...

Lol, the only ones here I've actually FC'd are Stalled Out and Norgers... I'm really close to FCing a lot of the Challenging ones though... I'm at that stage where I have the skill to do it, but I just can't fricking do it. I combo each section of the song, but not in the same game.

@Zag: Sorry, looks like we partially hijacked your thread... It still is about top one-handers though... so not really I guess. At any rate nothing is concrete yet, so it's still all yours, lol.
