I love the concept of GH, but i feel that it should have another row of buttons or something, because real guitar has alot of alternate picking between strings. But other then that, good game.
We just had my school's GH3 comptition for charity, and it was hilarious.
All these people were doing medium and easy, and then my two friends got up and did T.T.F.A.T.F on expert. Ryan won, but he's ranked 41 on XboX live. Go figure. :P
The best part was when all these "Gangsta's" dropped their jaws in awe.

I know this is extremely late but, for the person 'Moogy' Nobody cares about the difference between the Japanese games and the American games. They're games. You play them on a console. You play them. You can have difficulty. You beat them. You find cheats to enhance gameplay. You challenge your friends. All games are easy to beat. So is life, it's simple to beat it, suicide. See? All better! And if you really want the world to be as one, don't critisize another country's games, or race. If you don't want the world to be as one, keep it to yourself and crawl into a cave. (Real message) : Gh is a great game, I got GH III 3 days ago, and already I'm on expert, I just hate Raining Blood as much as everyone else. I like the intro though. So creepimifyish. Oh yeh, has anyone actually passed or 5 starred Through the fire and the flames expert? If you have. Oh Em Arf Geez!
It was c1200 at one point but that was a bit too much for some songs.
I found the cheat for Hyperspeed mode. Hyperspeed 2 is about my speed.
Still, I'm failing Tier 1 songs on hard. This is way, way too freakin' hard. It also feels like my hand is going to break. Human hands were not meant to be held that way.
Yea, uh, I'm a loser, and I have nothin' better to do so... I'ma pointlessly reply to this dude. Simple matter to jump Medium to hard: Keep battling Lou (med), or practice Raining blood (med). Try to 5 star R-B. If you hate how the song sounds, try a tier one song on hard (preferably Slow Ride by Foghat, it's basic, doesn't use orange that much), Go to practice mode, do it on slower speed 'till you get at LEAST 87% of notes. Then when you have that many, go to full speed, and try to get 77% of notes(minimal pass for a song). Then, when you pass Slow Ride, if you still wanna get better. DON'T DO 'TALK DIRTY TO ME' NEXT! It's too freakin' hard, takes awhile to pass, not worth the time. On Tier 2 start with Barracuda. It's a repetitive note song, which'll improve your strum on fake chord (lever). Then, you can basically master Hard mode. This applies to everyone else who has trouble with med jump to hard.
Summary: Replacement discs some time next year. Since Wii can't handle game patches well with its small storage capacity, it forces the developers to shell out the cash to fix their problems.
Back to where I was with this. I said this because I know that there are some exceptions.
I cannot do, or haven't tried, Knights of Cydonia, TDWDTG, TTFATF, Slash's song, the InFlames song, and I think 2 smaller parts of some other songs. Other than that, it has all been down only. Once you get used to it, its not that bad. I actually find it harder, with the exception of those previous exceptions, to do both up and down strumming, it just doesn't feel right to me. I'll see if I can get a vid or two up of only down strumming for you guys.
Well, I bought another controller, with the awesomeness of my warranty claim being accepted, so now I have two, so now me and my friends can play.
Also, the only song I strum only down is Cliffs Of Dover, and I have been trying to learn how to tap intro solo B.
I got it down a couple times yesterday.

Just one more reason Wii is awesome.
YES THANK GOD.
*plays other games until the replacements are sent out*
The One video is much more impressive, using drums takes out a lot of the difficulty of TTFAF, but One looks like it would be nearly as difficult as guitar.
