Alright sure. Just don't pick anything that has jacks that are unnecessary (like NOVA PULSARRRR >:O) Just PM me what you want...and if they're fine they'll be put in. If they're not, then I'll tell you and you can go pick another (it's not like if you pick some song I hate I'll tell you to pick another one...just songs that don't work xD)

Hope those certificates are coming out well :P

Well, it's not fancy, but I drew/typed it by hand so I put effort on it (I included the Shash skill token too, Idk why though). Unless I have to, I promise you I won't pick songs that have jacks or insane jumpstreams and stuff like that. For expert that's kind of hard though.

I'm aware this is a long time...I'd rather have a quicker round, but there would be more downsides.

If I do make it longer:

1) Some people forget that they need to submit a score for this tournament. With a longer round, there is a higher chance that they can still submit.
2) On weekdays, I (more than likely) will not be able to access the computer (schoolwork).
3) On Thursday/Friday, I have no school.
4) It raises the chance that everybody will be able to submit a score, thus making the tournament actually more competitive (and make people be like "oh okay, well, I'll advance anyways" and submit some crappy score on a song). Related to #1.

By jacks, I meant songs that have them when they are completely unnecessary. The jacks in Nova Pulsar (spelling?) are completely unnecessary; they could have easily been avoided. Good examples of songs with stupid jacks are like Terror From Beyond, AIM Anthem (well, the jacks make sense...it's just the fact that its like LOLOLOLOLOLOL 222222222222222222222222222222222222222222222222222222222 make it retarded), 136.6 (I think?), Turbulence (lol so many 3-framers) and Bubbleman Stage Theme (correct title?).

There are songs where jacks actually make sense, typically in Classic songs. Piano Etude (Demon Fire), Caprice (not too many though), Molto Vivace, Grand Gallop (should be Galop) Chromatique, and RunnyMorning (to me...because the jacks make it a little more challenging but still fun; I think some would disagree?).

Songs like Gradeus are fine, because though there are jacks, they don't have that much of a factor in the song.

With the insane jumpstreams...there's nothing wrong with that. On a personal note, I LOVE jumpstreams (generally because normal streams are too easy and bore me...) and I typically whore my files with them too ;D

there should be quicker rounds... it doesnt matter if someone forgets to submit that is their fault for not being responsible and not caring enough to pay attention and deserve to be dropped...

Well, if you entered the tournament...I'd be guessing you were eliminated last round (I don't see your name anywhere). :\

*Edit* I saw your post- I requested a PM & score submission for the people who were late to join, and unfortunately, you didn't. :\

Caprice's jacks are even worse than Nova Pulser (yeah, it's an "e" in pulser, I think)

But Caprice is at a much faster speed and much higher difficulty. In addition, the jacks in Caprice are spread out all over the song, instead of them all being in the same spot.

Normally I'd have that attitude, but keep in mind that this tournament does not have many contestants. If more are dropped, where's the competitive spirit?

You just HAD to pick Air...

I picked it due to its length...because it creates some competition between the experts. Most of the experts would AAA everything until the FMO/FGO songs. Rest assured, it's just this round that will have a 4 minute song.

omgitznpv - Some jacks ARE reasonable, and so are jumpstreams. However, in my opinion jumpstreams that are between 170 BPM or higher is a little intense (e.g. Exciting Hyper Highspeed Star and especially Pants since every jump is every 4th and 8th note). Also I like to add jumpstreams in my files too ^^.

The only time I would pick Pants is if I wanted to annoy MrRubix EHHS for some reason is pretty hard for me, but maybe your simfile isn't that bad. The thing about FFR that I hate the most is average-misses. They make jacks seem impossible, but when you play them in Stepmania it's slightly easier.
