I was trying to veer away from too much criticism on the banner making since I wanted to let the maker free of what they want. I liked what you made hecto since it matches my profile nicely. DC's banner has good rendering to it, which is really nice. =) Hmmm, maybe a little more matching to the profile would make it even more nicer. <3

thechild, ultimatum, and chidori! has nice banners too! Maybe more matching to my profile would make it nicer. =3

Just limit yourselves to the rules listed on my first post, but if you feel like making it your way, post it too! You never know, I may like it in the end and make you win that subscription/shirt you want. =)

Nice work Ultimatum! I like the effect you put in that one. =) The ratchet crop can be less contrast and a little sharper. Don't worry, you all still have 3 1/2 weeks!

Ooh! Can you guys reiterate you banners with a recent Ratchet? Preferably like the one here. You don't have to use this exact one, but since, well, hehehe, my preference and stuffs, it'll probably be a little more easier to work with actually. =3

While you guys make that, I'll put a pre-made banner on my profile for a while (since even though I don't really like it, profile is bare without a banner, hehe). The winner will have their made banner on my profile for a long while, and you'll get what you earn then. =3 Thanks for the time guys!

I'll consider that, somehow. But the month duration is really for the flexibility of people's own life time and working on this. If I wasn't considerate, I'd beg for one and make the due date for it in a week or less. Improvement takes overtime adjustments in what you make, thus whatever you start with can make the self-evaluated improvements in that allotted time. But if that's what you want. =) Bur really, this is open to the forum community, lol. You can't really drop out. But w/e. Thanks for trying and the time. =)

Dropping out as in i won't spend any more time on it. The fact is you should be able to see who you would want to make your sig initially. Maybe an individual could improve on a banner over a month but his or her general experience isn't going to change. I know you're only being fair but it also seems that a lot of people could spend time on this for no reason.

The whole point of this contest is just that: letting everyone try their best and what they think is their best and compete with others how good their's may seem to them. It's all on trying for something even though in the end you get nothing. That's how I've seen art/graphics contests goes around my experiences.

As a matter of fact, I already see some folks who I see potential enough to make the banner. The only thing is, I am not saying 'til whenever this dies down or that month has passed. When it dies down, I'll call the winner, but they won't get their prize 'til when I get the availability of my check card. I just can't get it now because of school.
