The other site still hasn't even sent me a confirmation that Zack & Wiki has shipped. Unbelievable. If these two sites have similar prices that are only off by a dollar or so, it's pretty obvious which site I'd prefer.

Edit: Their $5 and $3 coupon codes both still work. $5 for new members and $3 for previous members. I got $5 off my Guitar Hero III, which made it $75 with shipping, and now I've ordered Brawl for $41.

Doesn't matter, looks kinda stupid to me. I mean, it's not like anybody is going to GIVE me a virtual console game. I'd rather just get that person to give me $20 so that I can go to bestbuy and get a points card.

An X-Box 360 that costs $279... I might consider buying that in the near future.

by the way i was able to play the demo of super mario galaxy at gamestop and i'm sure even without knowing about the story that this game will be awesome and already is a must have for wii owners. the missions where more fun and filled with variety than in other mario games (you start in a house's garden planet and end up in a giant capsule and you pass through a castle) see what i mean?

Sure, you can gift it. But it seems to me that perhaps they might include something like the Zune did (free play for a certain amount of days) or anything. Why would they create a whole new channel for just gifting VC games? Wouldn't it be more logical to make a new feature in the existing shop channel for that?


Do all the gamestops have a playable demo now, Zidart?

I don't tend to speculate on things, except privately. If you search this thread far enough back, you'll see a time when I speculated a lot about this little console before it came out. Almost everything I speculated was wrong. That's why I tend to speculate privately now just to get myself excited. That way, I don't let anyone else down.

So basically 3 Wii games and 2 virtual console games. Well I've stopped purchasing the VC games because they're all to short for me (except Zelda). But I'm getting Galaxy and Guitar Hero 3 when they come out. Oh and Squeek, If the Wii did have a built in projector, I'm sure the price for it would've way exceeded $250. It would've probably rivaled or came close to how much a 360 costed back then. But I really wouldn't see the point of a projector in a game system anyway unless this was the time of the Jetsons or something.

Yes. I already have SoR one and two. I feel SoR was the best trilogy and games for the Megadrive next to Sonic of course. As for Sin and Punishment, I actually really wanted that game for the N64. I couldn't wait, it was even on my Christmas list, however it came out when the N64 was on it's last legs and I'm not even sure it came out in the UK at all. I never saw it anywhere at least. So I am really happy it's on VC.

One game I'm looking forward to is Conker's Bad Fur Day for N64 to be avaliable on VC. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask wouldn't be a bad addition either.

They need to continue on the channel section of VC. They only have 3 things there and I got all 3.

Defiantly behind you on Conkers Bad Fur Day, although there may be an issue with the games age certificate. Or maybe not at all lol.

There could be, but that's why they have Parental Controls under the Wii Settings. By the time they would add CBFD, I'll be 17, old enough to get an M rated game.

But about the parental controls, it's either the first or second page, and they work pretty good too. I only know this because my sister was getting on after I went to bed and she was doing stuff without my permission. (it's my Wii, I bought it) This all just means that the parental controls should solve the game rating problems.

Way back before the console was released, Nintendo said something about a TV being less important, or something like that. I don't remember the exact wording, but after that press release, it was speculated that a TV would be unnecessary to play the Wii. I think it was still called Revolution at the time, just to give you an idea of how far back this was.
