Ok so I get that pretty much everyone on here is going to be a big guitar hero fan, but what about rock band? I'm not sure if I want to get III or just hold out for rock band. It will cost more, but it has so much to it. And the song lineup isnt half bad. So yeah, what do you guys think?

well i really dont like rock bands list i like around 2-5 songs but if i bought it i would prob. like a bunch of the songs,as for GH3 theres a bunch of songs i like on there and its cheaper so i'd buy GH3 first for myself but i like the whole druming thing since i play drums and ive never played a drum video game,i just wonder how good i'll be

Tony Hawk died after like Underground.

Skate is superior in every way, shape, and form.

On the topic of RB: Get both . Activision seems to have its stick up its ass about how GHIII is better, but Harmonix believes that both games can easily and peacefully coexist. Perfect example: shared songs. If they couldnt coexist, then how could they share epic songs like Mississippi Queen, Paranoid, Reptilia, and others. If they were really at odds, then either one would have fought for exclusivity.

Both setlists have a large selection of really awesome songs. Also, the addition of Band World Tour for RB seems really really epic (read up on gamespot for more info), seemingly melding rpg elements into the game, making it a really awesome experience.

There you go. You should have said some of that in your earlier post. I agree completely with everything you said about skate. I find myself trying to play TH like its skate. because it is such a better game. I however, am still a fan of the TH series because it is still pretty fun to play.

and omg have you guys heard the track for TDWDTG? It seems to support the rumor that it is the boss battle, as it trades off guitar parts.

WOW I'm so excited for this game. I go to the official GHIII site everyday to see how much time is left until it is released. As of now about 7ish. The song list for it is the best ever and the most ever. Having more master tracks to make the game that much better. Slash is going to be a bass which is pretty cool and the new online multi player and battle mode. I already pre ordered my game so until then i will have to playu rocks the 80's cuz all my other GH's are broken

finally got my new pc...old one blew up.

Anyway, i've been playing a lot. 5 starred every song in the game, baby. 98% on six and 88% on jordan...like 97% free bird and psychobilly freakout.

I didn't get a bloody 5 star on six until I got 97%...it was so fustrating D: I feel like with some more practice I could actually 100% six and free bird (which is just really long urg). Is it just me or does six seem to change bpm randomly? I don't have any problem with those strum patterns in like, that light song (99%), or in miserlou but I can't combo them in six, which is weird because my strumming sounds like it's impecable D:

jordan is just...D: . I don't have much problems with the solos that are mostly trills anymore but the rolls are so bloody fast. I've always wanted to use 2 hands and then try and strum with my elbow...but I'm not sure if that would work well in the long run >__>

ok so i played the demo for GH3 yesterday at the mall,i played rock you like a hurricane(expert) and well i was waiting for a girl and right when the song started i started fooling around b/c she could see me and i pretty much sucked i mean i havnt played GH in like 3 weeks and yea the judging is wayyyy diffrent than GH2 but yea i really want it now

i dont know about harder, because although it looks harder, through the fire and flames is about 2minutes longer and you need alot of endurance to do it...so fast lol
