but anyway if you hate soo much those worthless unblockables you might not like brawl because now they added stickers.

oh and no, the whole point of the game is not collecting the trophies, did you finish all the events? the classic adventure in hard mode without using a continue and destroyed both hands? did you had the ability to eliminate giga bowser in the main adventure? adn you finished with everyone in every mode?

Here's the ad they're gonna start airing for Mario Galaxy.

Pretty much sums up the entire game nicely.

This trailer does not excite me at all. Is it just me?

          It's just you.

What don't you like about it?

In the meantime, there are literally dozens of other videos of gameplay: http://www.gametrailers.com/game/2660.html

I'm concerned about control. And what with the "center of gravity" clips early in the video, I don't think that concern is without merit.

That looks like it will be very disorientating... I know people who said Super Mario 64 would make them dizzy or have motion sickness and I never had a problem with it, but with the space movement system, I think I just might. Like... it just looks ridiculous; the planetoids are only about as tall as 3 Marios, yet we're supposed to believe that they have enough mass to keep Mario from floating off into space?

And the movement... does it use motion sensing or is it 100% button presses, because I really can't stand the point and click movement system that some games have.

I somehow hope you can suspend your belief, because in that game, touching a star will also turn you flashy colors and green mushrooms allow you to die once without a penalty.

I know, it's a mind blowing world out there.

There's a difference between magic and defiance of basic physical laws.

I know what you're getting at, but you can't really explain him walking around on tiny planetoids with magic. And did you notice how I didn't even mention how unbelievable it is that he could walk around in space wearing only his standard plumber gear? See... that is an area in which I can suspend my disbelief. Yes, he would be killed in the vacuum, but for the sake of gameplay, I'll buy into it.

IT'S A GAME! Not all games make perfect sense, because they don't need to! While you hate it because the physics in the game don't make sense, I'll be enjoying myself beat it along with thousands of other Wii owners.

I was going to bring up the space thing, but that kind of irks me just a tad because he drowns in water.

Some games such as Glover or Katamari make literally no sense, but are still definently worth picking up.

                          Play Portal.

If your senses aren't thrown out of whack in Portal, then you'll be fine in Mario Galaxy.

I am a die hard playstation fanatic, have been ever since my gamecube fell three feet to its death on a soft carpet. But I'm considering buying a wii to sit next to my ps3, is it really worth it? Does the wii play in hi def at all? I just want the opinion of anyone who isnt biased. If you either own all the systems or have at least played all of them with an open mind, please give me some feedback.

i own all three... and honestly i play my wii the most.

i think if you have the money it will defently be worth it for you.. becasue you already have the graphically intense ps3, you can turn to that when you want mind blowing graphics, the wii i find is a great alternative when im bored of playing games the same old way with traditional controllers.

If you play your PS3 a lot, then get a DS Lite, but if you're getting bored of your PS3, then get a Wii. Wii Sports never gets old (excluding month long breaks).
