Alright, I'm good with that. As long as the tournament ends after a reasonable amount of rounds. I don't want this going on for 50 rounds...

lol, thanks, these are my favorite kind of games =D, I've been playing these gradeus like minigames all over the internet xD.

Actually, I've played raiden x before so it wasn't difficult at all, and I know I could do better ;D, but I'll stay with this score for now ^^.

A bit late, but there's only one road bump I see (based on my own assumptions - such as that k is still of course the component variable and p is functional probability). For example, let's say you flip one coin (lol...magic coins that always have a probability p of 1/2). You have case0 of failure and case1 of success. The road ends there. Now, you flip three coins. An initial component case0 has a 1/2 chance of being compensated for by a secondary component case1, and vice versa (but now inhibition) for initial case1 and secondary case0. A tertiary case0/case1 would relate itself accordingly. The functional probability of the system would remain at 1/2.

                        ^Kinda obvious, though...

I might be thinking of the wrong model? It's obviously not in series or parallel (though the former could apply for double-components).

Luckily for me, all I have is high school exams. Rofl @ college courses!

P.S. - This round's game is 10x betta than that of the others. : O

Nope, *all* independent variables here. The system operation only depends on the number of working parts, so therefore you need some crazy combinatorics to accurately determine what that independent probability is given by how many parts are being used. The answer changes depending on the requirement for functionality as well as k.

If you want to know my solution, let me know if anyone cares enough, rofl.

Yeah, I was seriously like, "Wtf, interdependent systems are easy...why'd he post that here?"

                            And then...
