    I hate Wharton.
Hehe...the lazy answer would be, "When x is equal to 0," but I'm assuming your question has an implied system domain of x>1.

P.S. - Actually solved a little while after my "onozimlate" post, but not going to actually complete due to not wanting to feel obligated to rack up more points...XD

LOL it makes no sense to have a "negative component" system.

I think I got it right but holy crap was it hard to solve.

I meant the whole riddle, except it's still in raw form on mah notepad.

I'm really just here for the brain exercise, not for the competition. : O

When is the next mental challenge?

You should make it an interdependent series of quantitative finance systems.

                Or maybe not...

The next mental challenge will be much more straightforward without any "tricky" riddles. I have not fully designed it yet but I have a feeling it will involve a series of flash games and other sorts of puzzles. If I do include tricky riddles, they will be Bonuses.

Cool. I still haven't figured out any of the riddles for this round. Oh yeah and umm, for one of them, the diamond one, how do you make it a picture again after you've changed to coding?

Do you only get credit for 3rd round if you complete all of the challenges?

Do you get any credit if you finished part of Ongaku?

No, for Ongaku you must complete the goals for full credit.

As for the challenge round, the goal is also to solve the entire challenge. Since the tournament is always open, odds are, with enough help, you'll get it solved. Just do it quickly enough before others do, lol.
