So I got guitar hero 2 for ps2 2 months agobut only started really playing like a month ago.

I've been improving really fast, and I think I'm pretty good (don't know how good you guys are on here)
I have most of expert 5 starred. around 33 songs. The only really good 5 star I have is freebird, which still isn't even that great.

So today I was playing Beast and the Harlot. I know I can 5 star it. I was doing pretty good in the beginning and thought I had a 5 star easily. ****ed up a couple times, being careless 'cause I was sure I had it. Turns out I was 900 ****ing points under the 5 star cut off. I was majorly pissed. I'm more than happy to playit again, it's just that I was being so stupid messing up on the easy parts.

Haha I just felt the need for venting that out.

anyways since I sarted getting into guitar hero, I thought I would come back here and post over here in this forum. I need somewheres to share my passion.

how do u know if you'll get a five star cause ive 96%'d songs and still got a 4* and i was sooo pissed

It's all on combo/SP usage. To get a 5* you have to average a 2x multiplier (I think).

i know that but i figured if i get atleast over 95% is has to be a 5*,well i guess not

Passed hanger 18 on expert. Felt good. Just a few more songs and I'll be finished beating the expert career.

you need a 2.0x avg multiplier to get a 4*, and a 2.8x to get a 5*.

just thought you ought to know

3.0x for a 5* in GH I.

So today, I 4 starred the five songs that I haven't 5 starred. Psychobilly Freakout, Carry me Home, Miserlou (was a bitch), Hanger 18, and Institutionalized are giving me trouble.

I know for sure that I can get institutionalized and carry me home pretty soon, but the other three will give me some trouble.

I also tried Six for the first time in forever and I passed it pretty easily. I can see myself 5 starring it sometime.

Tried jordan on the other hand... The furthest I got is 58% through.

It's gonna take me a while to get that, but I'm pretty sure I'll have the main game songs 5 starred in less than a week.
