Re: The Best Hardcore Techno Song Ever Made
Well, right now my favorite trance song is Ur A Tear In The Open )Junkie XL Air Guitar Remix) - Tiesto. I don't usually listen to trance music but the vocals in this song are really good. I like it =)

Re: The Best Hardcore Techno Song Ever Made
anyone who thinks that tiesto, darude, or daft punk is anywhere near "hardcore" is just silly.
i used to listen to a lot of happy hardcore (scott brown, hixxy, those guys...) but the same stupid lyrics and the same tunes (which are cool but not when you've heard them over 9000 times) get really annoying. i'll still listen to it occasionally but i ended up moving onto hard trance/hardstyle after i accidentally tuned into the wrong internet radio station and was all like "whoawtfisthisawsome." then i found gabber and began with stuff like neophyte but moved onto more hardcore stuff like radium, hellfish, the dj producer (anything that comes out of deathchant is win) and whatnot. to this day i dont have a single non-electronica song on my computer, just a bunch of SOAD cds left over from the old days.
EDIT: ANYWAY (lol missing the whole point of the topic in the original post) the "best" hardcore song, at least at this moment in my mind (which is subject to change in a time coincidentally exactly the same as how long it takes to finish making changes to this post) would probably be Hardcore Body Harvest (Bunker Clot Mix) or Toilet Wars, both by Hellfish. I'd love to provide a linky but i dont think i'll be able to find those songs on any website soon :PLast edited by bobman743; 08-21-2007, 06:35 PM.Comment

Re: The Best Hardcore Techno Song Ever Made
I didn't say that Tiesto was hardcore, but okay. I don't really care for hardcore music. I'm mostly just into indie and electronica.

IMO best hardcore artists:
Angerfist
Neophyte
Evil Activities
DJ Sharpnel
Noisekick
Trespasserz
Yes, I did notice I did not put M1dy in the mix. Hardcore isn't only j-gabber and speedcore, ya' know.Comment

Re: The Best Hardcore Techno Song Ever Made
this isn't techno, but if you like hard techno I'm guessing you like hard dance and trance, which this is. It's a song by dark design called "blackout" mixed by yoji biomehanika, probably the most epic buildup ive ever heard In my life, at the club!

Re: The Best Hardcore Techno Song Ever Made
This is why you like Tiesto, the guy who rips off other peoples melodies and calls them his own productions, adagio for the strings? a 4 year old can play his version of the classical composition rofl. I'm sorry for the hate but as a producer he's terrible, he brings down the big tracks but his mixing isn't amazing either.
I saw armin spin 3 times, i was just in awe watching him mix, the man clearly isn't human.
Ok, thread contribution, I'm all trance so I suggest if you like hard melodic trance check out, Virus inc - the virus, nexus - next, jon the baptist - emotions, yoji biomehanika, you can look up best melodic hard trance or techno, thats always easy.
Also check out my youtube channel " Aquaticblaq " I'll be uploading my repetoire of progressive trance and electronica.Comment

Re: The Best Hardcore Techno Song Ever Made
I feel the exact same way. I have always disliked Tiesto, and I really hate it when someone, thats knows nothing about any genre of techno, or any other artists, wants to talk about how he is the "Best" artist ever. (This actually happened at my work, I eventually got the idiot to stop talking when I sprayed him with a hose.)This is why you like Tiesto, the guy who rips off other peoples melodies and calls them his own productions, adagio for the strings? a 4 year old can play his version of the classical composition rofl. Regardless, anyone else for Noize Suppressors, Dark Oscillators or Headhunterz?Originally posted by PhynxI'm a total asshole, if I had the chance to shove a razor blade dildo up your ass... I would... and I'd laugh while doing it.Comment
