"You have the choice between doing exactly what I tell you, or facing eternal damnation in the fires of hell" That isn't free will, that's Argumentum Ad Baculum, and I assess God -5 points for the fallacy.
Man was created in “God’s image.” (Ge 1:26, 27) He, like all other created things, existed and was created because of God’s will. (Re 4:11) God’s assigning work to him showed that man was to serve God’s purpose on earth. (Ge 1:28; 2:8, 15) According to the inspired apostle, man was created to be both “God’s image and glory” (1Co 11:7), hence to reflect the qualities of his Creator, conducting himself so as to reflect the glory of God. As God’s earthly son, man should resemble, or be like, his heavenly Father. To be otherwise would be to contradict and reproach the divine parenthood of God.—Compare Mal 1:6.

Sin, however, mars man’s reflection of God’s likeness and glory; it makes man unholy, that is, unclean, impure, tarnished in a spiritual and moral sense.—Compare Isa 6:5-7; Ps 51:1, 2; Eze 37:23

For a correct Bible understanding of perfection, one must not make the common error of thinking that everything called “perfect” is so in an absolute sense, that is, to an infinite degree, without limitation. Perfection in this absolute sense distinguishes only the Creator, [YHWH] God. God is incomparable in his excellence, worthy of all praise, supreme in his superb qualities and powers, so that “his name alone is unreachably high.” (Ps 148:1-13; Job 36:3, 4, 26; 37:16, 23, 24; Ps 145:2-10, 21)

Perfection of any other person or thing, then, is relative, not absolute. (Compare Ps 119:96.) That is, a thing is “perfect” according to, or in relation to, the purpose or end for which it is appointed by its designer or producer, or the use to which it is to be put by its receiver or user. The very meaning of perfection requires that there be someone who decides when “completion” has been reached, what the standards of excellence are, what requirements are to be satisfied, and what details are essential. Ultimately, God the Creator is the final Arbiter of perfection, the Standard-Setter, in accord with his own righteous purposes and interests.—Ro 12:2

God’s intelligent creatures are granted free moral agency, the privilege and responsibility of making a personal decision as to the course they will take. (De 30:19, 20; Jos 24:15) It is evident that this was the case with the first human pair, so that their devotion to God could be subject to test. (Ge 2:15-17; 3:2, 3) As their Maker, YHWH knew what he wanted of them, and from the Scriptures it is clear that he wanted, not an automatic, virtually mechanical obedience, but worship and service that sprang from hearts and minds motivated by genuine love. (Compare De 30:15, 16; 1Ch 28:9; 29:17; Joh 4:23, 24.) If Adam and his wife had lacked the ability to choose in this matter, they would not have met God’s requirements; they would not have been complete, perfect, according to his standards.

He was responding to [TeRa], not you. Though considering you agreed with [TeRa], ("yeaaap, pretty much") it seems like you too are saying "I don't want to say anything because everyone will be against me." I would recommend being clearer next time.

EDIT: I've had to edit this thing five times already because of accidentally omitting words, screwing up the quote tag, etc. Wow.

The VAST MAJORITY of my friends are female. I have never regretted looking at porn. It hasn't harmed me at all(I think it actually opened me up a bit), and it's really enjoyable. Should we stop eating food just because we enjoy that too, even though it helps us a lot more than it hurts us?

Well it's fair that you're standing by your opinion, but you have to at least consider other peoples' opinions...

I change my opinion on things all of the time if I get a good enough reason. The reason I ask for why you believe what you do is so I can see things differently and improve how I view things.

I knew this was coming. I just knew it. But somehow, I didn't stop, because maybe I expected someone would stop me first.

Re: Court strikes down Internet pr0n law. (safe for work)

BMS - Got banned 4 years ago for asking a question about they're token system, when we had to use credits to get video's and stuff, and we got those from signing on and posting online...never bothered to go back, because they were so mean =(

ODI - They called my really good friend Kendall (Kepogata) B.S. and they wouldn't believe anything he said, and no matter what he did, they just kept calling him B.S., So i decided to stand up for him knowing he's not B.S., but they're gay and they pretty much starting bitching at both of us, so then I decided to never sign on again cause they were being so gay about it, and Kepo wound up quitting SM
(p.s. devonin, yes in this cause, i should have never signed in again, tsutter was the one who started the thread , and he is the owner of the site, so he really cant ban himself, plus im pretty sure ODI has no rules...)

Yep, I've learned my lesson, don't give and opinion in a forum because nobody cares what I have to say, lesson is if you're ME, don't give your opinion in a forum.

I feel that I just need to explain my reason for not responding.

So are you comfortable with your female friends knowing that you look at porn? If you say yes though I really have no other response because that's really as far as my point goes haha. Not really too intellectual or deep.

              .

LOL KEPOGATA. That's the reason why I think ODI is so funny actually (not that i thought he was bs). I got called BS on about as much or more than he was and I just laughed at it and moved on because it was still some of the funniest stuff I'd ever seen on forums

                      Well, then don't.

                      It's your choice.

There are TONS of times when I read things and consider giving my opinion but I just decide not to.

But posting about not giving your opinion is kinda picking a halfway point, and halfway points don't work too well.

You stand with what you believe, but when people object to it, instead of addressing their objections, you tell them to "eff off" and if pressed, try to plead subjectivity of opinion and back off.

                                No, really.

The entire POINT of this place is to challenge other peoples' opinions while stating your own.

That's how things progress. That's how we become better people.

It's not like we're saying YOU MUST ACCEPT OUR OPINION, but we're asking that you at least listen and respond. We will do the exact same for you.

There are only two possible groups of opinions here. Either you like it or you don't like it. Just stating an opinion won't bring anyone anywhere.
I knew this was coming. I just knew it. But somehow, I didn't stop, because maybe I expected someone would stop me first.
