yea crossovers help alot. if you kno how to do them

some songs are impossible if you dont do crossovers. Well either you do them or triple step or do an awkward double step. i would love to see a vid of bloodrush pass doing no crossovers.

Actually I've seen a kid who 99.02ed bloodrush infront of me without using crossovers. His feet are literally size 19 or somethin like that and he just heel toes the turns, which actually isn't all that uncommon. But normally it's better to learn crossovers. One-handing the bar sometimes and pivoting your feet so that theyre in the direction where the pattern is turning you helps a lot.

I'm insanely good at crossovers on DDR. It isn't that hard to adapt to it if you think about it and take your time on learning how to do it on easier songs.

Seth, you think double stepping is easier then crossovers? I double step 4868 usually, and rarely at other times. I always play bar, and I just go one-hand on crossovers, pretty much solves the problem.

I learnt crossovers now. The best way I learned them was on standard Butterfly. Pretty cool crossovers that can turn you whole 360.

An awesome song to progress with crossovers I found is Cyrosleep on ITG.

cryosleep has 0 crossovers unless you start on your left foot for 1 short stream near the end lol. i dont count 8th notes as crossovers cause you can cheat them no problem

forgot about that! i whored that till i got better at crossovers. im still meh at them but way better then before. my friend got 96 on mythology double stepping the end....wtf

I end up doing one doublestep in Mythology on that retarded pattern that you have to start out crossed over (a la PSMO), it's 24268486 or something like that. I always do that backwards and have to doublestep to be able to do the rest of the stream on the correct foot.

Um he only did that at the beginning of the song and those arent the only 486 684 crossovers in that song, you watch at the end he holds the bar the entire way through. I use the bar when I crossover or under pretty much every time, especially on stuff as fast as bloodrush, the key is to use your heel on the 486 684.

Cross-overs are win, yes. Spins always trip me up (pun intended) unless I double-step them or they're really slow, though... =(
