What's the "fun" thing to do in runescape for non members nowadays?

I always considered mining fun. Quests are fun since they're easy and require no real walking. But after you've done both of those, I'd say be a merchant, raise your combat stats, get some full rune, and kill people.

I was well known for the shortest RuneScape name: U84. He was pretty good, actually. Besides my stats, my trade was scamming scammers. Because I at one time was doing so well (non-member-wise), that I had over 1 million in stuff and got hacked, that drove me to hack hackers. Anyone who said soemthing like "Free enchanting" or (before RuneScape actually made this true) "Look! RuneScape blocks your password, see? ****************" I hate people like that and scammed them, although it got me banned in the end. It was worth it.

I always considered mining fun. Quests are fun since they're easy and require no real walking. But after you've done both of those, I'd say be a merchant, raise your combat stats, get some full rune, and kill people.

I finished all the quests and I guess I could start training my stats again. Hello, runehq.com.

So I was talking to a friend yesterday and he was telling me that he needed to borrow 100K, and that he'd give me a granite maul for allowing him to borrow the 100K. He told me to trade him the 100K first and then his friend would give me the maul. Now I just met this guy a few days ago, so of course I didn't do it. Then he told me to come back later with 100K saying he had the maul. So I put the 100K up in the trade window and he put the maul, then he canceled the trade and said "no". So then I thought something odd was going on, but I let him put up his maul without me putting anything up, and then he accepted the trade and confirmed it. It was just then that I realized he really had the intention of giving me a free granite maul <3

So yeah, I thanked him a lot because my stats are 47 atk/46 str/46 def, and I went about my way with my 100K and my maul. Now I will be dueling a lot after I get 50 atk and str <3

Why didn't he just say that he was giving it away for free? Also, anyone want to buy some enchanted amulets? I have a bunch of mage, defence, and strength ammys for sale.

He said he was "testing" me to see if I was a generous person. He said he was gonna give the 100K and maul back anyway. The fact that he built it up like that when I didn't trust him, though, made me feel pretty good.

I wouldn't advise doing that with everyone, though. You got lucky, but most of the time, things like that equal scam. I would know.

the maul isnt that good. but for your stats, i guess its ok. mine are atk71/str70/def65. im training deffence.

Of course. I didn't do it for him, either, he just happened to give me the maul without accepting my 100K.

I thought those mauls were only like 55K. Idk I havn't delt with stuff under 100K for a long time. I ussually just slay and get super rare stuff then buff my cash through merchanting.

Also Tosh...how is mining fun?

He actually wanted me to lend him the 100K, as in he would return it.

But yeah, maul's worth 90K-130K anyway <3

Also, I dunno, I just always considered mining fun. Especially when you get 62 mining or whatever the requirement is to get into the mining guild. Then you have coal rocks all over.
