It's not confirmed, but it is suspected that he killed his girfriend, or whatever she was to him first out of a previous argument, and then for whatever reason, probably insanity, decided to go into random classrooms and kill people.
My girlfriends brother was in the building right behind the one where it happened. It was scary as hell when we heard about it.

So I come home from school and at 4 o clock the Situation Room comes on and it says 32 people died at Virginia Tech-largest shooting in US history.

Wow.

Uhm, my family still hasn't heard from anyone if they're kids that go to VT are safe.. this is like, really stabbing at me, and like.. It's just ****ed up, really.

... like, I don't know.. some of my friends from like church go to VT and I haven't been to church in like what.. 2 years? They're always begging me to go.. and God, if any of them have passed away because of this incident, I'm just going to hate myself forever because I've just been completely ignoring them for so long..

what a ****in monster... this is just so horrible... coulda been any of us, you know? it kinda makes you thankful for every day your alive. tomorrow is never promised. its disgusting how one human could have such a mindset to kill his fellow man without guilt or care. i hope he burns in the worst of places...

so he apparently went to kill his ex girlfriend and the guy she was with? im thinking he probably actually did that, and left. then out of guilt, he started feeling horrible about what he had done, so he came back and let out all of his anger, and then took his own life.

No one has released an official motive, to my knowledge. Last night they hadn't released the identity of the shooter.

yeah, they said they want to make sure what the have is completly true before releasing it. and they dont want the media to be annoying them while they try to solve the case

There's a press conference with the police right now. Apparently they did identify the shooter as a VT student, but not much else.

im also watching it. korean student who came for senior year. one of the weapons was said to have been used in both the shootings.
