God bless zombie lupins. Pretty good EXP, and I can sell 2,300 dolls for well over 2.3 million. More than 1K per doll. Pretty damn sweet.

      Inflation is awesome. (not really)

When I was there I only got 100 a piece.

Actually... ****. If I could find a buyer consistently at 1k per doll, I'd probably get faster money there than at grims.

A part of me kinda likes inflation, and it doesn't really bother me when I'm buying stuff either.

EDIT: What the hell? I'm the first person in 12,873 posts to rate this thread?

Well, yeah, I give it a nice 5 because it's what brought me back to this game.

I'm about to be at Zombie Lupins ... sticking with Jr. Wraiths for a while because I still only do 200~350 (occasionally 400+) so I don't think I'm ready for ZL's yet. I probably will once I get my lazy butt over to Orbis and upgrade my equips to lvl 4x stuff instead of wearing 2x stuff ... -.-

Actually, when should I upgrade my equips? (I'm a lvl 43 cleric) I know there are upgrades for equips at every 5 levels (43, 48, 53, 58, etc. etc.) ... so which one should I get that would be the most cost-efficient while still giving me the best stats? I'd prefer stats over saving.

I'm LUKless, so I can't be a huge help with when to buy stuff, but the +101 HP on my Lama Staff is amazing. Combined with +80 HP from a pig headband, and +15 from an Icarus 2 that someone gave me, I get nearly 200 extra HP. If you Ludi PQ at all, you might want to consider getting a Lama. With that and a good pig headband, you can probly take bumps from Alishar without MG, which can save a good chunk of money. I might use a single red bean sundae at Ludi, during the entire run.

As for training, stick with Jr. Wraiths at B2 for a while. I used to get over 30% an hour there. And if you're only doing ~300 damage, you'll probly miss zombie lupins a lot. I still miss them occasionally. (Level 48, doing up to 11xx damage) Either way, check your %/hour, if it really is better at zombie lupins, switch, because the cash made at zlupins is awesome.

edit for awesome cursed doll auctions:

                  Haha inflation is terrible.

I used to NPC ZLupin dolls because nobody wanted them for anything less than 75 each and they NPC for 65 each so I was like 'k'.

Overall INT used to be 3m. 10 million... People are nuts.

I thought they were like 8 mil when they first came out... If they were 3 mil I'd think I would have used mine rather than selling it.

You can buy cursed dolls in FM for 100-200 each, but the idiots on Basil would rather pay me massive amounts of money. I don't complain.

Chromer: Be glad the hackers aren't overrunning it anymore.

And yes, Chris, of course you could make more money at zlupins. If I were to train a whole level at Grupins instead of Grims, I'd make TONS more money. Hardly any HP pots and perhaps no MP pots, plus tobis. It'd also take like 100 hours to level, though, so uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh no. I go to pirates so that I make more money than if I stayed at Grims all the time (I only go there for parties), but moving down to Grupins would be such crap. =\

And really, inflation isn't so bad as long as it's slow enough that you can keep up with it. It went up ridiculously fast there for a while, but now things only go up a bit. Unless you never get drops at all, you can beat inflation, and if you never get drops at all, you'd be screwed even if prices were much much lower. Like, if I get a steely now it'll do as much as it would if I had gotten a steely a year ago, I just have to use the money as soon as I can so prices don't go any higher. As usual, money sitting around is money losing its value. Really, if you have lots of money and nothing to do with it, you might as well buy something you know will at least never drop in value (throwing stars, glove attack scrolls, etc) and will hopefully increase in value. It's like buying Google stock. I mean, unless they release a quest that rewards ilbis or if the final training zone (aka: skelegons until something better comes out) drops glove attack scrolls, I don't see any way the price of those things could go down. Like really, I have some tobis on some newb character that I never sold that I could sell now for like double what they were worth now. Had I sold them and just kept that money sitting around it would have cost me. Sell what you can and buy some stock if you have nothing better to do with your money. =P
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

EB: I was a Cleric/Priest under the old drop rules.

I never got anything worth anything. The most I ever had was like 25 million. It was all from NPCing stuff and picking up money, along with never buying anything.
