Yes. Even though I am not a member, i'm pretty sure that anyone who was a member, then didn't bother to look at it for a year or so, came back to find all their stuff intact. Of course, even then, it would be stupid to listen to that "rumor" of sorts, seeing as it would be VERY unfair for Jagex to do such a thing. And, even then, I don't even THINK Jagex could alter your character's items and stats.

When you go from a member to a free user, your items are deemed "member objects".

But they don't disappear unless you drop them and don't pick them up or something. These "member objects", however, cannot be used, traded, or sold(unless it is an equipment that is already equipped, in which case it would have its stats decreased to 0). They turn back into their old items when you go back into a member world.

I'd rather play RS and be noticed than play WoW and be yet another statistic. I'm not going to follow the crowd and join some game that's so hugely overhyped. I don't care how good WoW is, I'm not going to play it.

i played rs with my account,hawaiianham (lvl113), but that was 9months ago. Pretty addicting game lol - although its a good way to meet nice people
