Woah woah woah woah don't judge anything until everyone's submitted theirs.

I'm gonna PM those who haven't posted yet, and I'll probably be finished with my entry in the next couple of days.

But just so you know for now, the criteria:

Production: Is everything crisp and clear? Any clipping?
Composition and Arrangement: Does the rest of the song fit the given melody?
Overall Musicality: Is the song good? Try not to let genre bias get in the way.

Judges will be rating each category out of ten, and then averaging the three scores for the final score.

          1) What? You do know that it would be terrible if you used the MIDI saw, and that MIDIs contain the notes so you don't have to try to guess at the chords?

          2) Barely sound similar.

              A. Open the midi File in any midi sequencer of your choice

              B. Play it by ear.

Or you could just import the MIDI into FL.

Shut up. I wasn't thinking of FL as a MIDI sequencer.

KgZ: in Reason make a new file, click on "File" and click on "Import MIDI File..." then choose it in there.

yea I'm pretty sure he uses reason, which is why I said this.

I changed the KEY...And i sat around for 2 hours trying to get it to sound as close as i could to the original 4 measure piece that was given to us....

                          last song on the list
Songname: Shining Dawn (Techy Dawn Mix)
www.myspace.com/DJZero054 And instead of having a first and i think a 5th i just made it single and no chords and i doubled some stuff up to make it cool
