And what's wrong with not-a-virgin people? As long as they were smart about it, why should you judge them based on their actions in the past? It didn't involve you, and they weren't really taking risks. Of course, there are always small risks, but that's what makes life worth it. Every time you get in a car you're taking a risk. That doesn't stop anyone. Wearing a condom results in a low enough risk that it isn't a big deal.

Seriously, I really have no other choice than to settle for "good acquaintance." I'm bad with women, so I need to treat them less like women and more like normal people to get to known them. B'sides, I don't work well with girls I have a crush on, so I try to crush the crush and just get to be friends, and it's worked for one girl so far. So from personal experience I'd say that that's for the better if you don't want to **** up any chance to get to know her ever. Intimate relationships don't always last. Friendships usually do.

Honestly, I'm the same way when it comes to the virgin/not-a-virgin thing. I don't see those that are quick to lose their virginity just because everybody else is doing it (your little note about the average age being 15-16 make it apparent; almost nobody understands love at that age) doesn't make for the most stable person in a relationship, only because I would question exactly why they'd do it in the first place. I've turned down a girl or two when I found this out. And, it actually was a good decision; they weren't exactly the best of characters in retrospect. It's a sign of weak will, at least from my point of view. And, if you don't have respect for the person you may spend the rest of your life with, much less yourself... who wants someone like that?

I completely agree with you Nforcer. People who lose virginity at young age do so for such stupid reasons, and what is very common regarding those people is that they seek very shallow relationships.

Ghost375, I totally understand how you are feeling since we have all had our moments of meeting this "incredible girl" and such but since she had a miscarriage, I would advise you to be extra careful. Don't rush to get with her; instead talk to her casually and find out what kind of person she is. Look out for "red flags" or "warning signs" she might say during your conversation (such as 'I've hung out with 10 different guys' or any remark that would indicate to you that she is definately not the type of woman you want to be with.)
