Moonlight Sonata Movement 3 kicks the crap out of Revolutionary Etude
Personally, I favor Romantic or 20th-century composers (Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, etc.) over Classical or Baroque composers because I feel like later composers were more concerned about making a real emotional impact, which I think Revo, for example, does a damn lot better than Moonlight Sonata.
Buy the sheet music to Revolutionary Etude, it's worth it.

I was refering to the retardedness of the sheet music, actually.

Whoa, if you want some retarded sheet music, look no further than DEATH WALTZ:
But whoa, if you want some legitimately retarded sheet music, Liszt composes some crazy ****. If you ever get your hands on the sheet music to Un Sospiro and figure out what you have to do in the first part, you'll see why.
This person not only messes up a lot, but gets off beat so many times. It could be played easier but they do it the hard way. It's pretty cool though I liked it.
Faerie's Aire and Death Waltz is a joke, if you thought it was real you're an idiot because to play that you'd need more than 10 fingers.
You want hardcore (real piano pieces)?
Balakirev's Islamey (Find Arrau's recording, it is brilliant)
Beethoven's 29th Sonata Mvt. 1 and 4 (Hammerklavier)
Chopin Etude 10-4
Chopin Etude 25-2
Liszt Sonata in B minor
Liszt Totentanz
Prokofiev's Toccata (This piece is so difficult that Prokofiev himself could not perfect it. (Find the Martha Argerich version and you'll be in heaven.))
Prokofiev Sonata 2 Mvt. 4
Prokofiev Piano Concerto 3 Mvt. 3
Sorabji Opus Clavibalisticum
There are so many insane piano songs, I don't know anything about Rachmaninov but his stuff is supposedly really difficult to play. I simply don't enjoy listening to it. Brahms made crazy **** too.
ps prokofiev is amazing 20th century you will not find any better omfg i love him
I currently have the rights to use 2 Brahms pieces... and have a Liszt as well. All 3 will make good stepfiles, assuming we can get them on-sync without bpm changes.
