Alright, Alright.
Lots of paranormal things can and have been explained. And that usually ruins it. I love the paranormal for it's mystery. Someone found an icycle sticking up from an ice cube. Then it was explained that the water expanded upward and froze. I lost so much interest in that phenomenal occurance ever since.
Have any of you guys heard of a town here in Canada, I think it's St. Luis or St.Luke (something like that).
At night, you will sometimes be able to see a large orb of light travelling down the railroad (which has been shut down). It's very bright, very large, and almost everyone in the town has seen it.
Story is, back a few 40 some ago, this guy tripped, fell on the tracks. His head was cut off by the train. So now they say that that light is his oil lamp, while he looks for his head. Kind of creepy - and no one has a theory for why or how this light occurs.
Critical thinkers, can you explain this?Comment

Well, my opinion is that the mind has really great power. Anyone's mind, even the sick and twisted. So there's this world, and there's many others. And by world, I suppose you could say "parallel dimension," but I absolutely loathe that word, so . . . Another plane, I guess? tat's almost worse. No matter. I think that what your mind thinks of is real, every thought and imagining is real. Either it takes what it imagines from other planes that are like that, and you just see it, or possibly just by your thinking it, it's been created. I've thought about this idea for a while, but I' not sure if I believe it. I think I might, so maybe I do
But that would explain your mystery, wouldn't it? By people thinking they see it, it actually exists. Hmm . . maybe I'm just on crack. Yes, that must be it.

Yes, actually. There is a scientific theory (it hasn't been formally proved yet) that a type of lighting called 'Ball Lighting' exists. It is, hence its namesake, essentially a ball of lightning. They can be yellow or white, and generally hang around areas with lots of metal. They usually float around in the air for mere minutes, and disappear, but there have been cases where the ball will be 'attracted' to a person and zoom straight into them. There are pictures and hundreds of eyewitness acounts, but since they are a fairly rare occurance and no formal evidence has been provided, they remain a myth.Have any of you guys heard of a town here in Canada, I think it's St. Luis or St.Luke (something like that).

Yeah theres others called Willo-Wisps. I read about these hanging around a certain field in the US. You guys probably know it.
Something like, at a certain time of year, you can go to the field and see a whole crap load of orbs flying around the field.Comment
