Heh, and I thought playing on a shelf that slides under the desk was annoying. I think holding the keyboard with your other hand beats that =/.

He could easily change that. My desk is small, but I have it away from the wall. My monitor is half-on/half-off the desk. I'm able to get my keyboard to sit in front of the monitor that way. I had to do that in college too.

Yeah, it's a shitty camera because it isn't a digital video camera - it is a digital camera that just happens to have the bonus of being able to record videos. And due to the way I play, zooming in further to the screen would have been impossible to do while still keeping my hand in play.

Speaking of the way I play, I play like that because I find it comfortable. I could easily make enough room on my desk for my keyboard, but I still prefer playing with the keyboard in my lap. You can't really tell from the video, but I cradle the keyboard between my left hand and the inside of my left elbow, with the keyboard running along my forearm. This creates a very stable set of arrow keys to play on - it moves around far less this way than if I were to place the keyboard on my desk and pound away at it there.
