how do you think a database works

Unless FFR is at some equilibrium point where it's teetering on the edge of functionality, a new forum is not going to bring it down. I've ran vBulletin forums before, including FFR. Unless there is some precarious situation we're not told about, adding a new forum is not going to affect the website's functionality. It never has on any vB forum I've been an administrator of.

afaik we're still running on an 8 year old server that hasn't been upgraded so really i'm just afraid that trying to put all those numbers into the db would cause some kind of overflow
