Changed Doodads by Robot Science to Good Luck. Good Luck has better tracks. Option Paralysis by The Dillinger Escape Plan as a bonus.Atomhead - Aftermath (drum and bass)
Atomhead - Spiral Field Velocity 1.0 (experimental)
Atomhead - Spiral Field Velocity 2.0 (hardcore/speedcore)
Blind Guardian - A Night In The Opera (power metal)
Darius - Ergosphere (???)
David Bergeaud - Ratchet & Clank 1-3 OSTs (electronic orchestral hybrid)
Entity Netlabel - Vortex (experimental)
Fires Were Shot - Solace (ambient)
Frog Pocket - Come On Primates Show Us Your Teeth! (IDM, breakcore)
Frog Pocket - Gonglot (IDM)
Geotic - Mend (ambient)
Gridlock - Formless (IDM)
I Broke My Robot - Tomorrow Does Not Exist (breakcore, IDM interludes)
Kitcaliber - D. Freq. Crush (digital hardcore)
KOAN Sound - Funk Blaster (glitch hop, dubstep)
KOAN Sound - The Adventures Of Mr. Fox (glitch hop)
La Foudre - Le Chaos Ordinaire (speedcore, ambient interludes)
Robot Science - Doodads (chipwave)
Robot Science - Good Luck (chipwave)
Robot Science - Square (chipwave)
TechDiff - The Black Dog Released (breakcore)
The Dillinger Escape Plan - Option Paralysis (mathcore)
Also, if you're having trouble finding whatever I list, just ask me
Also, the Ratchet & Clank OSTs loop after getting halfway through and if you find 6+ hours of work tedious, I'd recommend the third OST.Comment

Re: Need music recommendations | 1 year challenge
Well a variety is good, and I think it's a great album so I suggested it. The album isn't the first thing that comes to mind when you see 'Renard'
If noname doesn't want to listen to it because 'OmG rEnArD' then fine, but your opinion on my suggestion isn't needed
Not to mention the ones that GammaBlaster had picked are also very good and also quite unlike the general sort of thing Renard has made.Last edited by Gradiant; 12-4-2013, 04:46 AM.Comment

Re: Need music recommendations | 1 year challenge
There are not as many days in a year for all of Renard's discography.
Just something worth noting.Comment

pretty much, altho the tailend of a lot of sharethreads/general artist and genre threads are pretty tame and collectedSo I'm guessing people at /mu/ are overly unsensible of others' tastes, and it's an endless dickfight of music conoisseurship? And all this snobism is imbued in a Pitchfork-esque kind of phenomenon? ("let's praise Arcade Fire and downrate everything")
Same as everywhere really.
Well now at least I know I shouldn't put King Crimson and Neutral Milk Hotel in the same sentence. :P (but seriously you'd need a slap not to recognize the importance of their works...)
EDIT: @Noname this project now needs a balance of quality distortion. I'd suggest Los Sounds de Krauts by Colour Haze and Static Tensions by Kylesa pretty please?
but as for "importance," I wouldn't say nmh has done anything spectacular or influenced a genre. p. mediocre and forgetable imo (except for jesuuuuuus chriiiiiissttt)Comment

Re: Need music recommendations | 1 year challenge
oh and listening to renard outside of his tqbf alias is literally time wasted, you'd be listening to cookie cutter examples of respective genres
that's why the dude is so prolific, none of his music is worth listening to.Comment
