In terms of trance, probably something by SGX.

My personal favorite is I'm Lost Without You by Blink 182. It's absolutely incredible.

SGX isnt even close.. his skills need to improve a ton. but again its opinion. but still, this thread was to let people express thier thoughts, and also to maybe broaden people's horizon of music. i was hoping people would see some songs and maybe download em?

anyways there are some other songs id like to mention.

Magik Journey - Dj Tiesto a very incredible song, just close your eyes and the name lives up to its title.

that and dancing with kadafi - infected mushroom. Its just so.. full and it ranges so much, its just so beautiful at the end. Mindblowing.

Requests for The Blessing are open again.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

I didn't read all 5 pages so if someone mentioned this don't flame me.
I like that song at the beginning of Final Fantasy X-2 that "Yuni" sings.

To list a few that I can thoroughly "rock out" to...

Time's Scar (Theme to Chrono Cross) ( Alainbryden's simfile for it)

I never actually played this game...I just watched a friend of mine play it (and suck at it) for a long long time. He played me the intro theme and I loved it. Then I found out Alain simfiled it (very well done) and downloaded that. Snagged the mp3 from that, been in the very small LEET playlist ever since.

Inner Universe (Theme to Ghost in the Shell)

This song is very cool. It's a different style from many other anime songs as it apparently (correct me if I'm wrong) implements several different languages within the song. I've gotta start watching this show...

Tokyo Style Speedcore (Reach's simfile is right here)

Most hardcore song I've ever heard. Props to Reach for simfiling it to make it made known to the FFR community.

March Caprice for Piano and Orchestra (Credits theme to Kingdom Hearts)

Everybody chose Simple and Clean (Hopefully the real version, AKA Japanese), and I considered this song to be so much better. No lyrics, just awesome. If Simple and Clean is the only Kingdom Hearts song you have, get the OST right NOW.

The only thing I can think of right now is the current ending theme from InuYasha - Every Heart.

And yeah, Fingerbib is an amazing song.

Oh, and Vordhosbn definitely isn't his best song. I'd go with GirlBoy Song or Come To Daddy as his best.
"Girl/Boy Song" is one of his greatest works fo sho. "Hexagon" and "Lichen" are also amazing songs by Aphex Twin if you dig ambient. And "Xtal." God, there are just too many....so here is a list of my most recommended songs by Richard D. James (aka Aphex Twin).

Hmm...something by Yes, for most beautiful
I mean, I wouldn't say my favorite songs ever, but beautiful? Yes.

Something like Roundabout or Starship Trooper.

Very well. Like I said, I wasn't sure who did it. I've heard people say it was by all of those, but I've never heard of Voice Male. Thanks for clearing that up.

Blue Meanie, I love you for your sig. "It's laissez-faire, I don't even give a care!" The live version of that at Buffalo is my favorite song of theirs.
