I think IZ is just a cartoon. Does it really matter though? Cartoon or anime, IZ rules! I just gave my brother the entire series' boxset on DVD. We have seen 3 episodes so far. It is just as amazing as I remember.

PS: GIR = best robot/dog/crazy thing in any show ever. ^_^

anime = short for japanimation = short for japanese animation.

Invader Zim = made in america, created by an american, in an american animation style.

Invader Zim != Anime.
