science is only useful to those who want to learn and are curious about the world around them.

My mum tried to raise my Catholic, but I am too smart to be sucked into this fantasy; this story they call religion.
I think people made religions to comfort themselves, make it seem like they have a meaning in life. Look at the Aztecs, they would cut live peoples hears out and throw them down pyrimids in the name of a "god".
The concept of a higher power, or a god is just illogical, an old book full of hoaxes and stories of a god was probably just pulled out of a hat, or just a story gone too far.
I dont beleive in a god,nor a higher being, because that higher being is within yourself, and you have to tap into it, so therefore, noone is greater than anyone, and everyone is equal.
Gods and religions just cause disputes in people with different beleifs, and if there really is a god, dont you think it would want its beleivers to live in peace, not religious war? If there was no religion there would be no wars, unless they are over something like oil or land or something like that.
I dont see how you can beleive in something that has not been proven, its just idiotic and illogical. I think the world should be totally taken over by robots or something, so there would be no religions, therefore peace.

Yay! Time to attack the flaws of this post!!

Yes, But if there are still humans on this earth there will never be true peace. It just can't work that way there is always going to be the next Hitler or Stalin waiting to rule with an Iron Fist.
          Aristotle:

Moral excellence comes about as a result of habit. We become just by doing just acts, temperate by doing temperate acts, brave by doing brave acts.
