    HOLY CRAP HAHAHA

Just finished X-5, Pempti, for the first time.

I thought I did poorly. Pempti is hard after all. Takes way too long, and you never can get all five of the tumor-forming guys.

Apparently I won with a 200 chain, no mistakes, and I never used Healing Touch. The game thought that was commendable.

I got XS rank. "Medical Prodigy".

    Edit: WOW AHAHAH wow.

Paraskevi sucked. Holy crap. They stay frozen for about a second and no longer. Had to go to the third organ to finish it off. Piece of crap I tells ya. C'd it and no interest to bring that up.

I'm still shaking though, because I just beat Savato. Eight seconds left. I seriously almost failed when putting the roll of gauze or whatever on him at the end. Holy crap holy crap holy crap.

    I B'd it.

AND FINALLY, the last message the game gives you is amazing. I won't spoil it =)

Just wondering....has anyone figured out how to get on the internet with the Wii from their dorm? I have to go back tomorrow, and just now realized that there is no wireless router.
The secret to your future lies hidden in your daily routine.

The reason most people fail instead of succeed is that they trade what they want most for what they want at the moment.

        USB WiFi adaptor.

That's all I can think of. Either that or wait for the Ethernet port addition.

Or go to a college that isn't Ohio State [assuming you go there by how much you root for them] and has wireless in the dorms.

Lmao, that's amazing. My friend will love that. He's a medical student and loves Under the Knife. He's got a Wii too and will defiantly get Second opinion. Anyway. I got a S rank on Savato on Under the knife first time. Trick was, leave the little bugs as they lag the game and make a healing touch effect anyway. Same with invisible blades.

Seth, I was on Extreme Difficulty. Not Normal.

They don't lag the game on the Wii version, either >_>

There are three endings. That's the final ending. The first is at the end of the "Under the Knife" storyline. The second is at the end of the "Second Opinion" storyline. The third is at the end of the X-missions. That's the one in the spoiler tags.

                    Re: The Wii is Here.

There's Easy, Medium, and Hard for the regular missions. You can switch between them in the mission select screen.

After you beat the game on any difficulty, it unlocks the X-missions. That's just the individual GUILT one by one (X-1 - X-7) as both doctors for a total of 14 extra missions. Because of the nature of the mission (you'll find out when you beat the game), they made it extremely difficult, hence, "Extreme" difficulty.

Just did it as Kimishima. Nothing really memorable. C'd Triti and Paraskevi (three guesses why =/), but managed to XS Deftera. Imagine that.

It's funny that I can XS the extremely difficult missions but not the Easy missions.

                      Re: The Wii is Here.

You can only XS on hard and extreme, that's why.

I've been playing nothing but Metal Slug Anthology lately. I'm having one hell of a time unlocking the Tonko Art Gallery. To do so, you have to beat Metal Slug 6 with only 15 credits (like in the arcade). Now, for those of you that haven't played any Metal Slug before, every single one is HAAAARD, and 15 credits is ridiculously small. I played the rest of the games with unlimited continues, and the least amount of credits I used, I think, was about 37. I haven't even reached the FINAL BOSS of 6 with 15 credits. I think I'm getting close, though.

                        Re: The Wii is Here.

                        Rockin'.

Thanks for telling me about XS rank. The FAQ on it made it seem like XS was possible on all levels of difficulty =/

I just went and checked it now. Yeah. He pretty much just outlines how to get the best out of each stage in terms of bonus points. Never mentions the point cutoff or difficulty setting for them.

I'm gonna start Hard mode some time soon. I want to watch the story again, and since I blew through Medium before I realized I wanted to watch the story from the beginning, I just didn't bother.

I think it's cool having games people consider difficult, like Trauma Center and Ikaruga. Because when I'm really good at them, people are like 'wtf hax'. Apparently, beating X-missions without Healing Touch is good, and apparently, I can do it pretty easily. I only used Healing Touch on Triti and Savato in the X-missions (averaging out the fact that I didn't need it when I played again as Kimishima so playing it again as Derek wouldn't necessitate its use either)

So anyway, after I finished Trauma Center for the evening, I went back to Elebits. On stage 22 working toward Pink Elebits. After I get the Pink Elebits in a stage, I do the stage's challenge mission. But stage 21 in Elebits is special. It's the best stage in the game, really. The entire stage is filled with puzzles. There are ring toss games, slide puzzles, 3-D cube puzzles, chess games, othello games, slot machines, and even bowling. Of course, none of this takes you outside of the general mechanics of the game. You pick up and place the pins in their 10-pin arrangement. You find and hurl the rings from all across the stage. All while finding Elebits under shrubs and boxes and such, and all while turning on electronic devices to find more.

Kinda sucks that Challenge mission 21 is among the hardest... right next to 27 (which I happened to unlock my first time around... what's up with that?)

SO THEN I was like k challenge level 21 angers me let's play sports. And I FINALLY beat Spin Control on bowling. Somehow during my new year's party at a friend's house, I figured out how to make the ball take a huuuge spin curve. I finally beat the 19th lane only to miss the 20th (It's just 10 pins... no walls at all -.-). Then I did it again with success. Whoo!

That makes three platinum medals: Returning Balls, Spin Control, and Working the Bag. Really need to play this more before WarioWare comes out, since that's going to be all I play and, from the looks of it, will really wear me out more than boxing could.

tl;dr: Trauma Center is coo~, Elebits is still fun, and I platinumed another Training mode.

                          Re: The Wii is Here.

I was at first disappointed when I started Story Mode on Elebits. I thought there was only 6 stages. Guess I jumped too soon; yet, I've had so many more games to play.

Rayman's a lot of fun, but I've played it the least out of my collection. It's not hard at all; just very whimsical.

Squeek, if you love games that are difficult by nature, try out Metal Slug Anthology. Beating a game on one credit would have to be the final sign of the apocalypse.

I beat the main story of Trauma Center, then tried X1 and quit. I will finish it eventually; I love Trauma Center.
