This is the most worthless idea ever. Why not just have no one post about anything. Rules that need to be in place are (ie no spam, no ads, no porn), but all your ideas just reduce the forum to utter blandness.

Do you want this forum to be like a gentleman's club? Do you want to no be able to say things that you have an opinion on for fear that you will offend someone? You are too uptight about what is and isn't acceptable. Everyone knows when someone says something dumb, and so no one seriously listens. You don't need a rule banning it. These forums work just like society, the less administration the better (within reason). People will go about their e-lives happily if they don't feel they are being oppressed. If they do feel they are, that's when people resort to annoying activities like needless flaming and postwhoring.

1. Age is not important, we as a forum don't care about each others age. Period.

2. Gender is not important, though it may be in some specific scenarios, otherwise, it is not important.

3. Sexuality is not important. Ever. Period. End of discussion.

We could ask around to make it clearer, but at least for me, I respect Cenright more than a lot of people on this forum. Most people, actually. He's the one person around here that doesn't flame incessantly, gives actually intelligent comments and doesn't spam, and on top of that makes avs for everybody. I'd say his opinion matters a lot.

Not to me it doesn't, not when he states things that make no sense (ie where he came up with selfish comments and infantile egomaniacs) I mean, in a thread where it says that any flame should be backed up and I just state an opinion that insults no one and he retorts with baseless name calling, how could you respect his opinion?

Cen isn't a selfish egomaniac in any way, shape or form. I could come up with several reasons why, such as how he never insults anyone, devotes time and energy to make avs and sigpics for free, etc. You however, constantly flame, start flame wars, and generally act like an ass toward other people and their opinions. You may claim you're just stating your opinion, which may be true, doesn't stop the fact that it pisses people off.

We are dealing with immaturity here VxDx. If maturity was given to everyone, there wouldn't be any flame wars, but that is like trying for world peace. It isn't going to happen. None of us can fully control ourselves. Some of us do a better job of it though. Some people don't even try, and those are the people who go driving way over the speed limit and kill themselves and others. They are so immature that they endanger lives every time they get in a car and are mad because "everyone else got in their way." Immaturity is one of the worst ways to be selfish.

It is selfish to endanger your OWN life for something as petty as fun. A life should not be endangered for fun. Risks are all part of life, but risking a life for fun is not worth it. If you think it is, well then you are exactly what I called you before.
