If I concentrate real hard, I can tie a piece of thread to my finger, tie the other end to a toothpick, and make it mysteriously move by waving my hand.

Even better, do a LARGE demonstration- i.e. You lift a dog with your mind and I will believe you. Bend a spoon that you are holding and I will not (I've actually bent the edge of a spoon all the way over just by squeezing the correct part of the handle). If they actually had any sort of abilities that mattered they would be able to do more than just the cliche, overdone, easy to fake parlor tricks.

and as for the videos, how hard is it to tie a thin fishing lure to the object and twirl it

and for the bowl one which i guess is supposed to be proof of "no strings attached" simply pin it to the cork, tie/tape/glue the string to a corner of the foil and move it in a circular motion above the bowl, NOT REAL
