Re: Mars photo creates a stir

If there's life on Mars other than bacteria, there's no way it's this complicated.
When you show me small insects or something of the sort, I may believe you.

There was once life on Venus.
There is now life on Mars.

Is there intelligent life, where, and the what extent?

I'm taking an astronomy course, and I can tell you for certain that Mars' atmosphere is not fit to sustain any kind of mamal life. Perhaps bacteria or fungi, but not anything you could classify as "intelligent". Even after my first glance, this looks like a strange camera angle.

        Another older photo.
When they took another picture at a different angle, they saw that it was just rocks/shadows.

All I know, there is the elements to have humans in other galaxies, but it is like impossible to travel to another galaxie, since it will take like rofl a million years+.

BUT like someone said, Mars ozone and all that is incredibly thin, and rofl the only way to make it thicker, pollution. Its what we're doing to are atmosphere xD Causing gloabal warming rofl.

                  Me talking nonesence, obviously.

Don't know if you knew, but they're are the periodic table elements all over the universe, those elements created man, so obviously, they could have somewhere else

Well on all are planets there's those elements.

I love how if a rock or whatever looks remotely human morons assume it's life on another planet. Seriously, bipeds make up like 1x10-999999 of the species on this planet. If life is ever found (and living creatures won't be found, since there's no life support on mars), it would probably be microscopic.

                        If you want to expand...
We base everything we know about the universe on what we know from here on earth. So, in the mind of a scientist, a life form has to have water, and breathe oxygen. But how do we know that there isn't some species that breathes carbon dioxide? What I'm saying is, when we look for intelligent life, we expect it to be like us. Like our physiology. But I think we need to think outside the box.

Re: Mars photo creates a stir

It's not a confirmation of life on Mars and that's that.

There are tons of things that look similar to humans. Clouds, trees, mountains, constellations, with a little amount of animation any one of these and more could all look like humans.

If we were to find any living life on Mars, it will more than likely be microscopic. The same may not hold true if we were to expand our search to a way wider range. We can expect to find all types of amazing life forms out there, none of which as you said, will look anything remotely human.

I didn't say it was. Like I said in my first post last page, it almost even looks shopped.

Edit: I just watched the video... bigfoot. Are you ****ing kidding me? Comon people, seriously. When they bring back pictures of that rock from a diffrent angle and I see a little green alien praying, then Il'l reconsider.

I always wonder if humans just aren't seeing what is already right in front of them. Maybe we cannot see the unknown. Suppose we were to step on to a foreign planet that was populated by other life forms. They might be so inconceivable to us we would find the planet empty and move on.

Sometimes optical illusions are like that. You can't see things unles you know there is something to look for....and you have to look at it in a different way.
The weight of what I say depends on how you feel.
