Ill make this simple and quick.

really good one handers ~ 15
really good two handers ~ 100+

Being one-handed limits your ability to get better real fast. If your just starting switch to spread before your stuck playing one-handed. It's a style thats possible to get good at but it takes time.

Also make sure you look for similar threads there must be 4 or 5 of these on the same subject named the same thing.

I used to play one-handed, but after so long I started to realize that there were a lot more challenging songs out there that I wanted to play, but couldn't. So I switched and started using two hands, and now I enjoy the game a lot more because I can get through harder songs.

Now I wonder about whether or not I should index. I guess that's a completely different subject altogether though.

I just switched to two hands a few days ago and have already toppled some of my high scores on other songs. I also learned that screen shrinking really helps too. I was told to shrink it so that I can barely see the bottom of the word "Perfect" and it works perfectly for me. If you want to just get better. I say go two-handed. I played one-handed for a year and a half and am finally going two-handed. I go right index up, right middle right, left index down, left middle left. So go two-hand if you really wanna get better faster.
But all the more power if you decide to stick with one-hand playing.

I currently play 2 handed (index). But I am thinking of switching to playing spread on sm. Its just really hard for me to get the jumps down for some reason.

Index fingers.
But I'm thinking about switching to 4 fingers because it seems like thats how to get FC's on the hard songs the easiest.

and the ABSOLUTE winner.... FFR thong with "Too Tight" across the front. the back would also work, but then it wouldn't be a thong.

Definitely one hand, three fingers. (Don't know all those fancy little names) And through practice, I've FC'ed Emerald Sword.

It depends on the one that you feel most comfortable with, really.
