Re: Dreams
I don't think anyone who would be reading this would be blind... so, I really don't know. Maybe someone else does. xD

Re: Dreams
You dream of what life could be like if you weren't blind. However your interpretation of how life would be would most probably be completely different from the reality. Just a theory...

Re: Dreams
Dreams dont rely purely off of the sights your brain obsorbs, because they also have the ability to touch, hear, smell, etc., they can still dream with associated sounds. I'm guessing that the brain produces an image of a person or object based on how they felt in real life. If you think about it, a blind person still knows a round bowl when they feel it. Also, with their walking stick and the vibrations felt through it, Im sure you can paint a mental image through the sounds and vibrations. I would imagine that the mind would make its own presumptuous guesses of how everything else looks but as far as how it would interpret color (if it does at all) is a mystery.

Re: Dreams
Yea i don't know how one would go about trying to explain color to someone who is blind. But for the dreams, I always imagined the brain used what it knew of feelings, textures, and the idea of shapes to form images, but I don't really know other than that

Re: Dreams
Most likely there would be colors but they'd be perceived mostly as feelings and emotions since the person wouldn't recognize color. Sounds would probably play a much bigger part I would guess.
