Elder Scrolls Online
Something tells me this thread has probably already been done, but I couldn't see it and Gen. Video games needs one.
Who's excited for the beta? What expectations do you have? Anything you think could be improved from what you've seen? Anything and everything ESO; post it here! |

Re: Elder Scrolls Online
Still waiting for true online multiplayer for skyrim. Even if it is only 2 players.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online
Signed up for the beta, but I'm not too excited about the game.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online
They say their making it a high priority to keep the integrity and play style of the
Elder Scrolls franchise, non over that overcluttered hud bs you'd find in mmo's like EvE. It's not mostly a PvP game. I'm sure you'd be able to reach the level cap questing just as fast as someone who roamed Cyrodiil stomping noobs. In terms of the map PvP zones will take up more than desired, but that doesn't mean the gameplay is going to revolve around it. |

accepted I'd receive an email within the next 48 hours to let me know. And that was almost two weeks ago. So I'd say my chances of getting to play while it's still in beta is pretty slim. Hope they look more kindly upon you |

Re: Elder Scrolls Online
I heard you have better chances at these things if you have unique hardware specifications that they are interested in getting feedback from.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online
I can't say I'm excited because I don't know too much about it. However, I read about it on Ars Technica and I'm pretty interested... this is something to keep an eye on.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online
You can see the javascript controlling the chances bar here:
http://signup.elderscrollsonline.com/js/signup.js If you include guild name, guild website, check one of the previously played games, check one of the previous elder scroll games, select at least one of the game styles, select at least one of the game activities and include a game that you have previously beta tested and don't leave any any blanks you will get above average variable set to true Then additionally if you include dx_dialog information you will get the excellent variable set. stole from reddit ^ c; Also, the email went to spam for me. Check that. Since I haven't really looked into the game much, I'm not sure what to expect. Never completed a Elder Scrolls game before |

I had completely forgotten about it. Seems to have potential so I will definitely try it out.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online
Played it for a little bit and it was meh. The characters movements seem weird. The world looks pretty good other than the starting zone thing.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online
I didn't like it. My biggest annoyance was how bland the combat felt. Seemed like I was just swinging at the air through the enemy and then the enemy took damage. It had no feel to it at all.

Re: Elder Scrolls Online
Despite all the bugs, the beta was fantastic. It'd be nice if we get to keep our characters (I spent at least 50 hours hoarding crafting materials)~
-didn't realise the realise was this soon, I'll definitely be jumping on tomorrow to try out the races I neglected during the beta. =) Last edited by Mourningfall; 03-30-2014 at 05:07 AM.. |
