Well, hopefully the PS3 won't suck cause the Wii sure is retarded. One of the original members of the xqsite + FFR community.

What.
Defend your statement, because right now, you just sounded like a stupid, ignorant fanboy.Last edited by MCRenaissance; 11-15-2006, 01:43 PM.Comment

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
I'm sure what Robby meant was that he doesn't like the concept of the Wii.
And let me tell you, if every game was based heavily on the motion control, I probably wouldn't bother with the Wii either. It'd be too gimmicky.
Oh and by the way, the question about the PS3 isn't whether or not it'll be a decent system. The problems come from: low production numbers, high cost, low availability, the fact that people buy just to resale, low numbers of interesting games at launch. Honestly, if the PS3 was more reasonably priced, and not so rare, I would love to have one. The fact is, however, that Nintendo has Sony beat in all of the ways that Sony has failed.

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
Five more days. I will be investing my entire $500 paycheck into this purchase.
Why would they release this on a Monday? Seems to me like many more people would be able to buy it on a weekend.AAA's = 800

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
I'm gonna cream myself when I get my hands on it. I don't care what anyone says, Nintendo is gonna win this generation of consoles hands down. They're the only ones who want you to not just have fun but to move around while your doing it. Goodness knows I'm gonna jump around my living room playing Twilight Princess, shooting aroows and listening to the sound come out of my controllerComment

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
So I took a trip to Wal-Mart and Target today.
Both stores are honoring the street dates to the end. They will be holding back inventory of the console, games, and accessories until Sunday.
Meaning those who actually get the console will have a chance to get games.
Sweet. Thank you Target. Especially for that $20 rebate you offer. Buy three games on launch day, get $20 back in the form of a gift card. That's an even better deal than Costco's bundle that they won't be selling on launch day because they hate everyone.
Oh, and they had two games already out. Some Disney movie game and Excite Truck. They even had a console in the store that I could ogle. It was most fun. The problem was it started pouring outside while I was checking it all out =/
So, assuming I can get what I want, we're looking at Zelda, Monkey Ball, and Red Steel. Hey, if I have to get three, might as well get Red Steel before figuring out if anyone else likes it. I'm sure it'll be awesome.Last edited by Squeek; 11-16-2006, 09:47 AM.Comment

Heard some disparaging things about Red Steel as well and I'm waiting for the GC release of TP.So I took a trip to Wal-Mart and Target today.

Why?
Because I'd rather play the game the way it was intended and not for the Wii which they probably slapped together so people will understand how TP fits with the Wii's motion sensing.
On Sunday, I'll probably get Trauma Center: Second Opinion and Call of Duty 3.
