Konami issued a patch to fix that and add a new song to the machine. Whether your arcade could be bothered to install it is another question.

AA'd three new 9's today...both Tsugaru songs, and Kakumei. The latter I've been trying to get for a while, so that was especially nice.

Still can't beat 85.4 on Max 300...I keep randomly messing up, it's hard dammit =(

I'm not really very good at DDR yet, but it definitely helped me get better faster (I started out on Standard).

If your footspeed is below your reading level (like me), then playing keyboard helps you get to whatever level you're at. For example, I can only play DDR once or twice a month, yet I still get a lot better every time I play, just because my reading skills improve by messing around with index. I used to barely make it through the first stream in Max300 (if I even did) and just by playing index I can now get past the freeze, and come close to passing.
