    Re: Actual Art

I totally thought I had already posted in this thread. But anyway, here is my most recent doodle. I've decided to make it the cover of my CD.

          Re: Actual Art

I actually spend most of my time drawing at school, when I should be working instead. The work just piles and piles up, it's terrible. D:
But someway I still always manage to get it all turned in :>

            Haha, Albert Einstein..

Drawing in sharpie only can suck sometimes.. especially if you mess up.
In 6th grade, I never drew with a pencil.. it was all pen.. and I was pretty damn good at it too.

Pencil is by far my medium of choice, but really time consuming.

Something made to express yourself. Something that comes from your state of mind, your thoughts, your feelings. If you're going to do random airbrushing, at least do it in a way that it makes sense and it transmits a message.

messages are only as they are interpreted. the true meaning is lost in translation. what if random airbrushing indicates a time of spontaneity in someones life? is that less "art," then, than a van gogh painting? what if it was intended to not make sense? is that not art?
we are all entiteld to our own opinions about what we like and whath we dont like. i for one dont like modern art. that doesnt change the fact that its still art. "real art." the talent/skill involved in the process of production does not make it any more or less of what it is.

Hmm, well I do agree, but most of the "art" posted on the forums are practically all the same, and their only goal is to serve as a background for a Stepmania song. That's like making a jingle for a department store.
