I play DDR, and I'm getting pretty good on "Beginner"...but I would completely suck at standard and/or heavy. Anyway, where I am girls beat boys at DDR all the time, so whatever.
I'm a boy that plays DDR and ITG. I've beaten 1 girl that was playing on Heavy, and couple that were on Standard.
I personally love playing DDR. I play everyday and I have my own pad at my house. I've been playing for 3 months and I have brought myself up from beginner to Standard(( max 7 foot.)) I feel great playing DDR. While other girls in my neighborhood are just sitting around doing nothing, me and my friends just catch a ride to the arcade and play DDR. =] It's fun and better then being bored.
so, i have been a ddr (er) for about...3 years. I am one of the best around here. I live in illinois. Umm, i just had a tournament the other day and got 2nd place, only because i had to do hands and feet (and come on thats not REAL ddr) and so i focused on the hands but hte guy i faced ONLY focused on the feet, so i gave up or else i woulda had it
Personally I think we need MORE gamer girls. I'm getting sick of the stereotype of ONLY GUYS can play videogames. This coming from a guy who's first game was Super Mario Bros. at the age of 2, so I've been in the gaming world for a LONG while. I think if we had more gamer girls, then the world would be a better place. Think about it for a minute. To me that would be awesome if a girl shared the same game skills as i did.
I've been playing DDR for almost 5 years now and am on the hardest level (Heavy/Challenge). if a girl came up to me while i was playing, asked to join me in a game, played the same skill level as I did, and PASSED with eiter the same grade or a grade thats a little below or above me, I would defenitely be like "you have my undivided attention, I want to get to know you more". Having a girl that can relate to you especially in a video game defenitely wins points in my book.
