Considering I have a lot of the old offsync files (caprice, uber rave, etc.) it is an absolutely ridiculous excuse to say that you can't resync them because you don't have the originals, also, you could easily transcribe them with the help of a program that records your computer screen.

Uh, no one ever said they would NEVER be fixed, just that they wouldn't be fixed anytime soon, or at least till 3rd style...

I have a bunch of the old song files (as well as a dozen other songs approved for the game that never went anywhere) but no luck on the dwis. If it's not possible to covert FFR to DWI (I'm sure it is), I'd be willing to re-do them (I've gotten better, trust me). But looking at some of the uber-early work I did, it would probably be better to re-do things outright.

Isnt it possible to just re-sync something like silence or last firstborn without having to re-step the whole file? like hold the music up for a half a second to conjoin witht he stepchart?

Its possible, but from what I've seen, not worth the time, and, its basically also saying, hey lets set the arrows on party4u to colored, but then no, because of it having a moving BG and it being fairly the same color as the arrows, highscore holders on the some would get mad, like myself. Plus, what Shash said, Klung was new at the time, I'd say that 3-4 weeks out and you just can't touch it without everyone with a great high on it(assuming its not for beginners and such) getting into a fit because they spent half their winter just to get a top 50.
